I'm looking to buy a used droid on eBay for cheap somewhere around a hundred I was set on a droid till I started reading all these comments on how the phone sucked and was slow, I might have to go with a blackberry. Can anyone suggest a droid phone that would be good for me

I had the Droid eris and it was terrible. Bad keyboard, slow, ok camera, bad volume, and major lag. I switched to Droid x, which is 200% better

i have the droid eris and its great but about 5 times a day my fone freezes for 20 minutes its a very unhappy thing so i dont recomendd it

This phone was great the first week i got it then it got all laggy and what not and when I was in florida I accidently dropped it and the screen has 50 or so cracks in it... this is definately not worth it

how do you define laggy? and why would say it's not worth it when the 50 or so cracks was your fault in the first place?

@ArchNCryV2 i do have to agree. but i still haven't dropped mine yet. but to add to this. i actually kept my driod eris in my ABU pocket and it got wet from my sweat. and now the phone is extremly laggy. and it takes forever for anything to load and everything likes to scroll to the left. and takes forever to make a phone call. def not worth the buy

This is a terrible, terrible phone. The battery life sucks, the touch screen is difficult, it freezes and lags, and just today it crashed and deleted all my stuff. DO NOT GET THIS PHONE! It seems great at first but then it becomes terrible

@truCAPSfan08 Yes, using a microSD card you can transfer video and music files from your computer onto your Eris. However, you'll need to download the videoplayer app from the marketplace. iTunes digital files don't seem to work, but you shouldn't have problems with other file types.

battery is a bit low, its running 1.5 android os. but its getting updated. and no flash but it may receieve it. and the vib is less than satisfactory

I have an HTC droid eris and yes, the keyboard is good, but its also laggy. I prefer "Better Keyboard" because it fits the speed i type, but yes, it is a good keyboard
