You know... one major flaw with this game is abundanly prominent in this fight. If a pickupable item is still there YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO PICK IT UP! This is video game elementary. But if the sand pickups have faded past a certain point you cant pick them up anymore, even if you can see them and are standing right on top of them. That is sheer stupidity. I dont have a problem with items disappearing, that is an ancient gaming concept, but even on mario bros, if it was there you could get it.

are the life upgrades easy to find? i played this on ps2 but lost interest about 1/2 way through but i recently got the pop trilogy on ps3 so im going to make sure i finish it this time and i want the true ending because its canon and theres a trophy for all life upgrades lol

To all the smartasses that said this video wasn't in Hard mode, I've JUST finished the game (literally 5 seconds ago), and I used a very similar tactic (specially the triple ravages of time on the ending). @Azard3 lol, you have to only go one more page unless you refuse to admit you were wrong. I was only hit by his weaker attacks, and the damage values in this game are random. Look at some other videos on hard, they use the exact same strategy or at least something similar, and the damage they take is around this much.

@tovaenick you don't know how to use Ravages of Time properly then. I beat the Dahaka on hard with only one of Kailina's sand blasts to the ledge. Note how FourSwordLord used 3 Ravages of Time while the Dahaka was hanging. It's tricky to get all 3 of them in there, but it's the only way to take him down all the way first shot.

Probably takes 2 Ravages on normal, 1 on easy. But if he gets back up, don't waste your time (ba-dum-tchhh) just restart. And Eye of the Storm will take you forever!

I just had to watch this. I back tracked to find the life upgrade in the sacrificial altar and I got stuck. I couldn't go to any part of the game anymore. I wish the devs tested it to be back track friendly.

i wish i coulda seen this ending for myself but the version of the game i got BROKE as i shoved the empress into the portal. i could run around it just didnt do anything and wouldnt let me go anywhere. i was trapped in the time chamber :/

its a good secondary weapon, in the cavern were you cant see cause the floor mist, youll find an area of 2 floors with a lower one between them, in that lower floor is a breakable wall hiding a weapon rack with that sword, its unbreakable and extremely powerful, but you lose more life each time you use it.

there is known trick to defeat him,

to avoid he Punches roll over

to avoid his belly vines roll over

to avoid his vines that comes up when ur fal from him

just run in zigzag in one direction [fairly easy],

just make sure that before he has half HP you have all sand tanks filled and bring him to half HP with NO USE IN SANDS, after that kaileena with shoot him out and ull rush to kill him with that slashy slash attacks

Just keep using whirl whind until he dies. when your sand tanks run out then just hang off the edge till it replenishes. then when you scoot over he will not follow you over. then jump up and use whirlwind till he dies. lol. thats how i kill every boss in the game.

No...you can access that chest at any time in the game, just turn the lever in the central room towards the door and jump across via the columns...the two that you missed completely were in the garden, no glitch or excuse necessary.
