We were certainly tickled to find the video on YouTube. We were searching to see if a friend had uploaded a concert video and yours popped up because you mentioned our names in the description (thanks for that).
oh yes -- one thing -- you might mention that the song was written by Brian Leo.
Thank you so much for introducing us to this song!
We initially tried to do it closer to your version (with ukulele, toy piano, and vocal harmonies), but it was too much to learn in too short a time - for both of us. Maybe we'll try it again for an upcoming gig later in the year.
Powderkeg had *so much* fun learning the music and producing the act (the music selection, orchestration, jokes, dialog, and even the tempo were all hers) - and I had fun too. It made a perfect daddy-daughter project.
Incidentally, Powderkeg and I did this same version at the February Chantey Sing aboard the Virginia V. I hope it will come as no surprise that everyone there that night seemed to know it, and even had a full set of actions to go along with the chorus... We were tickled. :-)
wow she did a great job im super proud of her for doing that lol go faith you rock lol

Splendid! I usually tell my audience this is the only song I wrote that DELIBERATELY makes no sense. Pass it on!
