  • Omg it was so much fun playing with you and your father!!!Thank you for giving me this opportunity alex!

  • wow, he's amazing!!!

  • This is the best musician - on any instrument, I have so far witnessed on youtube.

  • 'easy to play the violin'. bullshit. haha. youre meant look like it's effortless but playing the violin (well) is one of the hardest things you could possibly achieve

  • LIKE A BOSS

  • I can't wait until I can play like that.

  • Markov the great..... superb.

  • WOW.

  • pfffrt

  • *KIDDING

  • *8:20

  • NO ITS NOT NO ITS NOT!

  • Now that is one busy right hand - not something for us mere mortals to emulate, I think...

  • this man literally looks like Nicolo... im pretty sure this man is thee reincarnation of astounding maestro Paganini himself. LIKE LOOK AT HIM!

  • Wow...awesome violinist!

  • Amazing!

  • It's easy to play the violin? How much is it that you practise exactly? Aha... and the 'papa'...oh, how could you! Great playing anyhow, and the best of luck! Many thanks.

  • i dont like his left hand at all, his raised fingers are disturbing

  • at 6:10 -6:18 I RESPECT THIS ARTIST AND EVERY MUSICIAN NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND IT!!!!!!!!

  • HOW DOES HE DO IT?? :(

Relaxing is the most difficult art.

  • meditaçao de thais mto bonito!!! l

  • it's easy to play the violin? o_O

  • what he says at the end: 'it's easy to play the violin...' that's exactly what my teacher says to me ALL THE TIME, AH! I wish it came easy to me! well, 'not yet'...perhaps in another 25 years I'll say that too :)

  • Sir will you be my teacher?

  • tabs please!!

  • Paganini não inventou o pizzicato de mão esquerda não...

  • he looks very sweaty

  • Very exciting. Superb tone. Absolutely perfect intonation. So relaxed and silky smooth. This guy just oozes talent. And he's funny too.

  • Drunk cameraman

  • at 0: 36 : \m/ :D

  • omg he's tchaikovsky concerto is soooooooooooooooo sexy

  • I would like him to be my teacher

  • bravo Alex!!!!Its wonderful as always!!!

  • cause is easy to play the violin?¿?

  • Thank you. Turn the mic gain down 1/8 of a turn. The clipping that some evidently choose not to hear is the result of overdriving the device.

  • 'It's easy to play the violin!' LOL Not for everybody, mr Markov!

  • can he do something else than staccato and some tricks? I dont like his sound, he seems to have problems with the response of his violin, plus there are way more vibrati than broad and subtile. He plays massenet with always the same vibrato. He only can play fast and make tricks with his bow, thats maybe y hes not that famous i guess. to me his musicianship is quite poor...

  • @Sorcerer2k thanks for your much needed opinion....now about ur retarded comments....yea i bet he could. its a matter of opinion and a majority do. no shit thanks captain obvious. music is about entertainment for the audiance and if ppl like it. The techniques he can use take years to perfect and are demanded by prefessional pieces. Mabe its cause he doesnt throw himself out there. and fuck the last comment, im sure even professionals would beg to differ. don't bother replying i dont give a damn

  • @carmyvinci: np!

  • And yes, some music is to entertain people, but thats not the case in "E-Music". I have to say that behind this tricky image wich markov has, there will sure be some deeper understanding of music. Wich comes with the years. But somehow he is the master of tricks and I dont think a Sibelius, brahms or beethoven concerto of him would please me at all. But tastes are different.

don't bother reading, I don't give a damn too, its just my opinion.

  • @Sorcerer2k =o ur sensible...sorry bout the attitude...not many sensible commenters on yt...i just dont like ppl getting crap about them cause of other ppls opinions...and ik wat ya mean some songs i just cant listen to the best pros cause of their interpretations. ik markov isnt ur fav but if u haven't listened to him playing Paganini's 24 caprices...yea he exaggerates them...alot...but its fun for me at least. and i just added the last comment cause i didn't want to get into some arguement

  • @carmyvinci: yeah, you are the good knight and I'm the bad mf! sometimes its the other way around. Thats what youtube "discussion" is about. If I dont like something for a reason I share that, because often people are scared of disliking something because they fear the good knights and the censorship aswell.

    good night

  • In Soviet Russia, Violin vibratos you...

  • @6Biermacht6 lol

  • he came to my school today and had this awesome gold violin.

  • I watch this video once in a while to get inspired.

    Great musician.

  • i just learn violin for a short time i don't know wat's the name of this piece of music....can u give me the name

  • what's song is this ?

  • what a show off! haha

  • @jtanl777 "i could play like this for hours" , hahah

  • Thank you, I actually want to practice now to try out these ideas. Inspiring!

  • super!!!

  • ...in Russia...lol nevermind

  • "meditation from thais" Its not very hard to find the sheet music free (shhh)

  • All of Markov's random convulsions of "examples" tought me nothing but instead made me jealous! D:

    Curse you aqua scummm!

  • He seems a bit cocky to me here and there's not really really a solution for problems because he doesn't have problems with playing aviolin but it's great fun to see, very close and what's left as beneficial is too believe that practise practise practise and practise and practise and practise and practise will let you know what's so "natural", so fokin' easy about violin playing :) Thanks, great video.

  • Its funny that this guy plays an amazing paganini with all the virtuoso stuff executed to near perfection. But when it comes down to playing a 'simple' melody beautifully with passion and feeling, it becomes clear that he has a very flat and simple tone with no depth whatsoever.

  • I hope they paid him a lot of money for this...

  • whats the name of the piece in the 1st???

  • @PjGalapatz massenet-meditation from thais

  • what name is 1 fist song q alexander Markov plays ???? help-me please

  • @jorgejlsdc Meditation from " Thais "

  • Méditation by Massenet. He wrote it as an interlude in an opera. Thank you Alexander, really interesting!

  • can someone plz tell me what is the title of the piece that was just played by Alexander??? i love the sound of it!!!

  • hahhaha..... easy to play the violin?.... I hope i can have teacher like you Alex.. your very good in techniks...

  • I LOOOOOVE HIM!

"It's easy to play the violin..."

    Of course, hahahahaaaaaaaa

  • Great pizzicato, great interpreter bravo!!!

  • Beautiful performing!

  • Heyyy camera men... i know Markov´s face, let me see his left hand!!!!!

  • @KraneosCorvus exactly!

  • He really has flexible wrists

  • this why i love youtube

  • he's the best, wach the tehnic, impecable.

  • Sigh.........So much Caprice No 24 (and showing off), sooooooo little vibrato technique teaching -__-

  • Vibrato orribile!!(

  • paganini did not invent left hand pizzicato

  • @indoormusic

He popularized it though. I'm not sure, but I believe it was Corelli that first demanded it in some of his pieces.

  • @indoormusic so ho did?vivaldi??ahaha

  • The way he holds the bow is just...strange. But well, he's strangely prodigious by all means. Thanks very much for the tips. That pizzicato is unbeatable.

  • It's the Russian school of holding bow I hope.

  • I think it's because he has big hands... but he is pretty amazing either way

  • @annpham its the bowhold heifetz used.

  • @sheepbird not at all,that s not heifetz bowhold

  • @sheepbird It's actually very far from the Russian hold - closer to the German school.

  • what a gifted and pleasant to learn from violinist!

which I surprisingly haven't heard of before!

    great

  • There is so much to learn and love about Markovs playing. I just wish that someone while he was playing for Fashion Week last year had suggested he bring his hair into the twenty-first century.
