SFA3 has core gameplay flaws. Like the fall from recovering is useless and allows people to combo you, and with V-ism many people can take you from 100 to 0 health with a combo that is unbreakable. Have you played SFA3 online on the PSP?

@ROFLriflez The use of the V-ism can be quite complicated due to the need of an great combo skill from the player. But I will explain shortly. If you play as Ryu, you jump on the foe, and hit him with Strong Kick, then, when the foe is stumbled backwards, you will have less than 1 second to press Medium Punch and Medium Kick together, and then, start an combination of furious cancels. In this mode, any attack can be cancelled with an special move, like Tatsumaki Senpuu Kiaku.

Here in Brasil, the videogames are made only for elite persons, so, the PS3 for example, costs the abusive price equivalent to US$ 1000,00, the XBOX, PSP and NDS. the same price. This is caused by our huge tributation and also, by the stores need to turn VG an object only to Elite Collectors. The PS3 games, costs here more than US$ 100,00, so, here, we are very damaged by the unblockability of PS3. And, as the XBox 360 is failing and dying all around, we are just playing PS2 and PC games.

1. the -ism are your super combo gauge, A-ism is a classic 3 level gauge

X-ism will give you more powerful moves than A-ism but have only one level

V-ism will have some shadow following you when activated, doing the same things you did

2. I don't have any idea on that but I always pick Turbo2

3. they only matters when you do super combos, but some fighter have different special moves with different ism

Aism is the alpha fighting style

Xism is street fighter 2 fighting style

Vism is shadow fighting style (special being clones behind or you doing what you do like you throw a punch enemy jumps over punch and the shadow punches the enemy)

It doesn't change outcome of win or lose but does change gameplay I suggest Aism because you have 3 different specials and Xism having only one

@Kreatur84. the main points to remember with isms...

X-ism: mode plays just like classic. You get 1 super, and no alpha counter ability.

A-ism: mode plays in "alpha" style. You get multiple supers, and alpha counter.

V-ism: mode plays in "variable combo" style. Use of alpha counter enabled and (as far as I remember...) same strength punch & kick buttons activate the "combo mode" allowing you to chain regular attacks into a devastating combo.

@xxJonLp I don't have this game, but I know that in A-ISM the fighters have they standard palette. When they change to X and V they also change their color (for example Birdie and Blanka, they've always had the most weird colors ever) :)
