@hutadut It is possible to run an electric helicopter with only 6ch, its nitro that needs 7ch for the engine governor. If you watch my latest videos, you will see that I now have a DX8 which is much better :)

@tomstanton28 just a suggestion i have a 600n and almost the exact same 700e setup that you do i am just running voltz packs at the moment. but there is a HUGE power difference i only like the nitro because you can land refuel and fly again without having to recharge a flight pack every time.

So are you using a bec and if so to bind to your RX to your tx do you bec power to throttle and bind then bec to bind port and then esc to throttle..? Just starting to set up my 700e...

@INMATECELL11 Yes, I'm using a bec. I turn the bec on to power the rx and servos (not esc) and then bind it. The when it has binded, I turn the esc on.

Hey tom. On a regular flybared heli. how much cyclic pitch do you use for fast flips. im using 13-+ on collective and little over 6 degrees on cyclic on my 550e

@ArcticRc Hi mate, It should be similar to a FBL heli, I think I use 7-8degrees on the cyclic. you can try 7-8 degrees, but make sure you have dual rates setup encase its really fast. I have heard that some of the PRO's use 10degrees cyclic! I have dual rates setup for take off and landing because 7-8 degrees is quite fast.

Are you running Set RPM Mode on the Castle ESC? If not do so and configure correct gear ratio, RPM's, and gain to be about 35 and watch the power be unleashed. 100% throttle curve on fixed endpoint mode is terrible in comparison. :) Enjoy.

@sam2b77 Thanks for the advice mate! I think I am running governor mode, because I set it up using the usb lead. And I remember setting the gear ratio, i will double check. :)

i can do moderate 3d and piro flips and inverted but thats all.

wow!!!!!!!!!!!! wait this sounds stupid but why are you useing using a 6 ch and not a 7 ch transmiter because i thought this would only run on a seven chanel recever transmiter system. im dumb :p

@thercpoop Thats not a stupid question. The reason why i can use a 6ch transmitter is because it is electric, just like any other size electric heli. The reason why some people use 7ch is because they are using a nitro machine. nitro helis need 7ch as they need to run a governor.

@tomstanton28 so if you dont have the beast-X system can you still run a 6ch with the standerd align 3G system? the beast-X replaces the align 3G system right or is it a add on like the helicommand? im confused.

@thercpoop The beastX is just a replacement for the align 3G, so I only need 6ch. The beastx is just a flybarless system, not a helicommand. I am not using the 3G on the 700.

@pocoyo2212 Thanks mate! I'm not using the turnigy, I decided to go with Zippy pack instead. The lipos I am using in this video are some cheap Chinese lipos that I use on my 500.

Thats is real good movement esp with a dx6i. I did see a lil delay in the movement. But that was becuz of the dx6i.  Good flying. God is Good.
