  • there were so many great videos and i hope to do one next year! i think your tips are great especially on the keep it short :)

  • Good luck next year :)

  • I never got SpamWowed, but HOLY CRAP nerdfighters are awesome. Like @chinareds54, I tried to poke around (on #p4a on twitter and other places) to find "the little guy"... One of my favorites though was definitely the guy for Sean's project in Bangladesh who had ONE SUBSCRIBER.

  • Really? Whose video was it?

  • @49ardavis. He accidentally deleted his video after it got hit by 5000 comments; but needless to say his subscriber numbers went up by around 1000 percent.

    (And Karen: you're awesome.)

  • I'm still going through as many videos as I can... especially the ones who didn't get SpamWowed. I hope everyone keeps looking around. I'm sure there are a lot of great videos and charities that deserve more attention!

  • Yup, very true :)

  • I was so distracted by seeing you with short hair I actually had to watch this video twice to hear what you were saying...

  • haha, well I hope you actually heard it the second time :P

  • i was a fan of monica's video. it was the first one i watched, i think, and i was immediately like, my video suuuucks.

  • yeah, she did an amazing job.

  • I was a fan of (obviously) Alan's and JBDazen's, but also jpmetz's was hysterical (I love her) and notreallyasuperhero's was really cute. :)

my video on my collab channel got spamwowed and we got some good feedback from that. <3

Your video was also lovely, Karen. :)

  • Thanks KT, and thanks for the video suggestions :)

  • one of my favorite videos was princeword's on Pennies for Peace. really stood out in my mind, super creative

  • hmm, I'll have to go watch that one!

  • Your hair looks lovely in the video, Karen.

    :o)

  • Thanks!

  • My project for awesome reaction vid is up.

  • Thanks for the link! =) Though, I didn't mention my charity until about two minutes in . . . but my evil twin was distracting me. What can I say, he's evil. =)

Congrats on all the new subscribers!

  • haha, well having an evil twin in the video just makes it awesome all on its own, whether you did anything else right or not =P

  • i already did all of your p4a video guidelines. woo! Im really happy with how my video turned out. I love surprising myself when a video is done and it looks professional.

I was sleeping while you were hosting :(

this year's p4a was so great. i cant even imagine next years.

  • I really liked your video too :)

  • hooray for p4a!

    and your hair!

    you make me smile.

  • Thank you! You make me smile too :D

  • P4A was so awesome. I joined the project for the first time and I am glad that my charity/video got promoted. I seriously hope people will donate, because that is what P4A is about. The comunity did a really amazing job. As well as you!

    Hugs, Dome

  • Yup, the P4A was incredible this year. Congrats on getting your video promoted :)

  • What a nice video!

Thanks for the tips for next year's video. I didn't know we were supposed to leave our videos as responses to vlogbrother videos...Sigh. :^P

    I'll know better next year!

    Thanks again!

  • Yup, that just makes it easier for people to find since they're all in one place. Good luck next year!

  • I liked Bandgeek8408's video about creative commons. I have heard your monicker kicked around youtube, but never subscribed till p4a.

  • Well thank you for subscribing!

  • You're so right! I was thinking the same thing!

    Love your hair! =)

  • Thanks :)

  • I love the project 4 awesome every year. Great tips Karen.

  • Thanks Barry :)

  • BTW thank you for caring so much about this community. You're a great person and deserve all of the recognition that you're receiving. DFTBA

  • Thanks so much :)

  • I've qualified for all the criteria in my P4A video, and yet barely got noticed. *shrug* Half of my views were me refreshing and commenting back to those who bothered.

  • The Project for Awesome was incredible. Thanks for all of the tips for next year! I need to remind myself to re-watch this video in 350-something days XD

  • Yup! Thanks so much :)

  • My internet was down during P4A, but I'm definately going to check out as many charities as I can :D

  • aww, that really sucks. Well have fun watching the videos anyway :)

  • Wow, Karen! A. Thanks so much for featuring my video, both during p4a and on this video and B. Project for Awesome reminds me so much of why I'm on YouTube--lots of people communicating and bringing important things to each other's attention. This video was no exception. D-EPH-T-B-A! (still don't have an f key, so I've just been hitting ctrl+v for all the lower-case ones)

  • No problem. I love watching your videos, and I really wish more people watched them too :)

  • Good call on making this video :)

  • Thanks :)

  • Hey! Great vid!

I'll be posting my reaction video in the next 5-6 hours (when my house wakes up, it's 3:50am here haha). You should watch it.

I still can't believe I got front page on YouTube!

And I'm really glad I subbed to you, you're really good. I made a vid just a little over 4 mins long and introduced the project at the start =P

  • Thank you so much for subscribing. I can't wait to see your videos as well :)

  • hooorrrrrraaaaaay! Cheers Karen for a great project for great causes.

  • Thanks Bill!

  • For your tips:

    1) Done already.

    2) Hrm ... I might've messed this one up this year. Noted.

    3) Half of that is done.

    4) Done.

    5) Hrm ... Noted.

  • Good luck next year!

  • Woo :) Good postmortem :) ... Yeah it's very important to actually watch the video's ... :D ... DFTBA

  • Yup, after all the work people put into there's it sucks if people don't actually watch them.
