Hi Maxotromeros, it looks old because it was made out of old junk. It's a non compression engine with both valves ahead of the piston at TDC. Loyal cycle's have a compression stroke & usually there's an exhaust valve located half way back the cylinder of the piston stroke.
@nrowland56 I gust got confused because of that valve on the cylinder's top. you seem to know a lot about loyal cycles and I wondered why the loyal cycle engine you show in one of your videos hasn't got it's inlet valve on the top of the cylinder (that is the bottom in this case as it's upside down)but rather on the side.

Nice build, I`ve been building my briggs non-compression engine, but very slowly, I still need a right profile cam and the adjustable ignition.
