Stuart is a very good teaching and playing pro , what he said in this video is correct .I like the other guy on here are a pro too. Please back your words up when you come out with words like bull with why it is not right please then we can see your point.
No one has mentioned the switch in camera angles from front-on in the close-up to an angled view in the wide-shot. Stuart probably does have a good impact position but the body posture and shaft angle is not clear in the angled wide-shot. Most other videos on YouTube show the impact position from front-on for a good reason.
Sorry but this is incorrect and part of the reason why so many golfers do not improve! 60,000 golfers have watched this and been misled - too bad. The handle and hips are a lot further forward for ALL good golfers.
This is WRONG. Hands are generally much more forward at impact. Hips generally have opened up more, shoulder may be square or open depending on player. But what this guy shows is pretty much nonsense. But Im not an experty-I just like to think I am!
to idadamhue (who is correct) & everyone watching this information...This is NOT the position you want to be at impact. Your hands should be ahead of your clubface & ball (not with teed up balls, however) & your right wrist should be still cocked slightly, with your left wrist straight, or in line with your left forearm. Also your weight will ideally be over your left side/foot, as if you're swinging around a maypole.
I think that what Stuart said in this video makes absolute sense, he,s a pro and I,m a pro too and top golfers arrive around this position at impact but the hackers out there can not get their hands to go fast enough and stay in the correct plane to get past their body, hence poor players hit the ball with everything .....everything that is except the club head. club head ? what the hell is that ?
This is total crap. address is nothing like impact. The hips are further left than at address at least 4 inches ,the right shoulder should be low, left high, the hands well ahead of the ball covering the left leg with a bent and straightening right arm and bent back right wrist and flat left wrist. In other words nothing like this guy is suggesting.
This is horrible. There is so much wrong with this....where to begin? The hips are 4-6 inches ahead of setup at impact and open at least 45 degrees. And the hands are well ahead of setup at impact and the angles are different....and....more....
you sir are wrong, if you did that, it would cause a pull, your body would be moving much faster than your legs and hips and your ball would go left and short more like a chunk
