  • I have a problem, I don't have the option to change it with Windows 7... Like it's grey and I can't click on it. Anything to help ? Thanks.

  • im a music producer .. how can i get the best quality when producing beats .. should i mess with my equalizer or disable it or what .. i notice that songs sound compressed on this dell thx 8300 pc im using .. i need help any suggestions ? ?

  • @RenzaVEVO Nah Mate, Don't Mess With The EQ. If You're Producing, You Should Be Mixing On CD Quality 16 Bit 44100 Sound. I Dont Know Much About The Sound In Dell, BUT Invest In A GOOD Soundcard. I Am Currently Investing In A MOTU Audio Card! It Also Depends On The Sequencer You're Using To Produce. Check Your Render Output Options.

  • why not set it to the last one ? ?

  • My computer was a vista 32bit a few years ago. The sound was fine even if I adjust it to the highest quality. But when I switched to win7 32-bit. I adjusted the quality to 24-bit 96000hz studio quality, there is a very annoying screeching sound everytime I play something. Can you help?

  • my fucking sound doesnt work now!

  • How do I know how many bits my sound card can handle?

  • Hey can you help me out? when I right click on my "Sound" icon there is no "Playback Devices" can you help me out here please? I really need this.

  • you deserve lots of sex.

  • only a dog would notice the difference

  • @chavodel6 You're an idiot. If you think 16bit is the same as 24bit, then I have no clue what to say to you.

  • i cant find it D: all i see is 16 bit 48000 and 16 bit 41100! help!

  • @FPSloverXD -- Sorry, your sound card does not support 24bit audio.

  • omg you are so amazing! thanks a lot!!! suddenly your voice improved :D :D:D thxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • man finally someone who can speak.............

  • @zzzzzzzzz269 My voice is embarrassingly bad in this video. So slow. If I were to re-record, I could say the same info much clearer and faster. I could probably say everything I did in this video in a minute or less.

  • Akon ft becomes the best song with 192000Hz

  • @1998anirudh I no longer recommend 192,000hz, as nothing supports that and can cause compatibility issues. Use 24bit/480000hz. The true advantage is the higher bit (24bit vs 16bit)

  • how can you change that in windows xp ? cause i have cod5 and it isnt working :/

  • Guys, want a awesome quality for audio?? Very easy, go download the Realtek software and play with the equalizer.. that really helps if you know how to set the equalizer, try it people.. i aint joking. :)

  • how do you know what sound card you have? thanks

  • wow.

    i hear audio on 24bit, 192000Hz..

what are some obvious differences between 16 bit 44100Hz and 24bit 192000Hz?

i don't have very good and sharp ears that can tell small differences..

  • @leslieip1993112 - Tbh, I believe there are no differences between 48000hz and 96000hz or 192000hz, because nothing is really supports or uses those rates anyways. I recommend keeping it on 24bit/48000hz for maximum compatibility. I have had some issues using 24bit/96000hz on games like Call of Duty. Keep it on 24bit/48000hz for best quality.

  • @BIOHazard877 all my games work fine with it on max

  • @BIOHazard877 hey you can even change the Equalizer to make it sound a thousand times better i use my own custom settings and it sounds awesome with the max HZ possible for my computer (the one on the bottom of the list 24bit) and im using windows vista so you should try fooling around with the Equalizer it really helps with muffled audio if you have terrible quality and it even makes good speakers sound better too please try it and tell me what you think.

  • @realflow100 I do not believe in using equalizers. Equalizers use software enhancements to "TRY" to improve audio quality.... but all it really does is make the audio sound different than the original author intended. EQ's lower quality, whether or not you THINK it sounds better.

  • @BIOHazard877.........I don't care. I can increase and decrease the amount of bass or treble with an EQ. which makes it sound a lot better for certain songs.

  • biohazard hope you still reply to comments on this video.

    i wanna ask...

how can i check if i have a 16 bit or 24bit sound card?

i have studio 1555... which i bought last year around june..

  • @leslieip1993112 - Practically all sound cards support 24bit now, so my guess is that yours DOES support 24bit. To find out, follow the directions in my video. Right click audio icon > playback devices > right click Speakers > Properties > Advanced > Choose 24bit/48000hz. Press apply, then restart and try playing some music. If your sound still works, then your card supports 24bit. If you hear no audio, put it back to 16bit/48000hz, and that would mean you DON'T have a 16bit.

  • ur task bar is weird is it 95 98 or 2000 by any chance

  • @Zerosk8er32 -- No, it is Windows Server 2008 Enterprise, which uses the Classic theme in order to increase performance.

  • nice! good tip!

I have a lenovo 3000 N200 with realtek high def card, setting in vista 24b/96000hz studio quality improved my sound

  • @mrzwerus -- I now recommend using 24bit/48000hz for almost all setups, due to the lack of benefit/support of 96000hz. Some games such as CoD may not work on 96000hz. The true benefit you are receiving is going from 16bit to 24bit.

  • How do you check the bit's of your sound card?

    Like 16 bit, 24 bit

  • MAN this Made my sound break. cant hear nothing. only audio. but not any videos on youtube.. Wth ?

  • @snabb133 Like I said in the video, try using 24bit/48000hz. If that does not work, then you simply DO NOT have a 24bit sound card, so you will have to go back to the original 16bit/48000hz to make it work again.

  • @BIOHazard877 Well i did all that, and it didnt work. so i put 24/96000 and restarted my computer and THEN it worked..

  • Can i pump it up to 192000?? I got a Realtek HD audio card. Dun know the processor series

  • @I3loodhawk Most likely not beneficial at all. I would stick with 24bit/48000hz unless you know you have a need for 24/96000

  • A MILLION thanks! You're the only one who helped me. WOW - I can't believe the difference. So glad I didn't put the computer out in today's trash..........

    Thanks again.

    e.

  • dude, my sound broke, i cant hear anything now.

  • @AelHmzah -- Try 24bit/48000hz, if that doesn't work then you DO NOT have a 24bit sound card, and should revert back to 16bit/48000hz.

  • @AelHmzah Go back to 16bit/48000hz, you do not have a 24bit sound card.

  • this maybe a stupid question..but does this work on Windows XP?

  • @bigyum4321 - No it will not work in XP

  • i've got 5.1 speakers and a high-end creative card. is there a reason not to go all the way to 192000hz?

  • No wonder when I changed it to higher volume my world at war stopped working

  • Thanks man

  • nice thanks man

  • thanks this really helps. My sound quality was so annoying so I chose the MAX Hz, and it sounds perfect now!!

  • im horny

  • 24bit is way better but the problem is Windows Media Player/Centre DO NOT Support

Anyhow Great Tip ☆☆☆☆☆ 5 STARS!!!

  • Sorry, my sound is to low and I can't here you. Can you message me how to do it?

  • I'm not on my Vista/Win7 machine atm, but I will try to remember the steps.

Right click audio icon in task bar, Playback options, right click your Speakers, properties, Advanced tab (most right tab) and select 24bit/48000Hz if you have a 24bit sound card (you do if it still works after you select/apply and still have audio). If not go back to 16bit/48000hz

  • Omfg get some real speakers, i can hear him on my laptop with ½ audio on.

  • thanks alot u made my speakers have no sound

  • Then you obviously didn't listen to the video. Try a lower setting like 24bit/48000hz. If that doesn't work, that probably means you do not have a 24bit sound card, you have a 16bit sound card.

  • great video

    thanks

  • thank u dude ....

  • I saw this like years ago but so afraid to mess with it.

  • wow ur like pro
