I have some friends who lives in N'Djaemna and they have told me that they had to evacuee the town and cross the Chagoua bridge to go in Cameroon where they spend four day sleeping under the trees and drinking the water of the Chari. After when they camed back to N'Djamena they were sick and the Grand Marché have been burned.

C'est tellement triste!

I hope they did not attack The Meridien. I have already lived in N'Djamena for a year back in 2001-2002.

Great news. We heard a couple hours ago Gabriel and Katie-Jay were evacuated as well. On a more grim note we've also heard that the refugee camps in eastern Chad are being attacked. If that's true, it could be very, very bad. Again, glad your father is out.

Gabriel has a satellite phone (which was used in the other videos from the refugee camps). None of us expected this would happen. Both Gabriel and KTJ are brave, tough times and they are in a tough place within no one really in charge, and no one to get them out. We're doing all we can from the US.
