If we get machines to do all manual labor and everyone is educated to be decent "idea" labor (businesspeople, artists, engineers, scientists, doctors, policy makers, etc) then there actually won't be poverty as we know it. This is Mr. noClue. China has 4 percent of people live below poverty line as of 2007, compare to 65% in 1981. And a large number of these poor people live in really remote area like the Northwest region (pretty much still far away from modern civilization, can't really help). We can safely to say poverty is eliminated.

i think urban or rural population is not a problem in Asia its the governments and corruption is the problem.
to reduce this problem education is must.
