  • Ok what is the sign at :38??? Can NOT figure it out... the 4's up by her forehead

  • @jaytalex10 It's continuing the "who I wanted" theme. It's kind of like "no worries" or "whatever".

I don't know if it's a sign in and of itself, or if it's just a body language addendum though.

  • Once again, Amazing...! I am not deaf, but I have a deaf child (9 years old) who is very oral, however sign language was her first language. I continue to learn to teach her as there are very few deaf people where we live. As her mom I know the importance of the facial and body expression. When she is giving me attitude, or causing trouble I do this weird right shoulder forward, signing 'stop' one handed, with the "mom's mad" look on my face. I don't have to say a word, she knows it's time to s

  • I don't even know sign language and i love watching your videos. amazing mujer. Keep up the good work. you inspire me to go learn sign language

  • This is powerful. Go, you!

  • awsome!!!!! i want to get as good as you ! you are sooo good!!! :D

  • I love your video's. I am 14 years old. After an unknown illness when I was 7 months old I lost my sense of hearing. Your video's combined with feeling the vibration's of the speaker make it possible for me to "listen" easily with no implants. You have blessed me with the gift of music. I am beyond grateful!

  • Beautiful.

  • Not only is your interpretation spot on, but your attitude is even better. You're truly acting the part. I can just see what you're saying!

  • I loved the end, "But, you're just a boy"- making him small and insignificant. Really beautiful. <3

  • Lighting sucks, awesome performance.

  • She supper pretty but make the UGLIEST faces lol,,, veryy talented!

  • Tiffany, I am not at all good at signing, in fact I'm almost what you'd call bad, but to watch your videos is just beauty in silence. Thank you for sharing this with us. Oh and if you ever do one to A Song for Mama by Boyz II Men, I really wanna see that one. Keep doing what you do sweetie, you're amazing.

  • You're amazing! You gave me chills!

  • my new fav channel :-)

  • I really like the direction you were looking in throughout the song. In the beginning and the middle of the song you were looking up to the man as if he were in higher authority. But towards the end you were looking down to the man as if you gained confidence and power about who you are.

  • this is amazing!

  • Wow !! I love the first time you say " but you re just a boy" and lower your hand to show how small / infantile he is. It s so powerful specially in comparison when "boy" is represented with the "hat" sign and all the attitude. Amazing !!! xxxx

  • To be perfectly honest, I know NOTHING about sign language or how it is supposed to be done, but you make it look like an ART! I literally got chills watching you, you are absolutely PHENOMENAL! I really enjoy watching your videos and it really inspires me to want to learn sign language! : )

  • beautiful! you dont have to sign every word to get the message across, your so fluent and skilled in chosing the correct sign and linking them. Actually, to those who can read sign language, try watching this with no volume, the song has an even better meaning than the lyrics.

  • Youre really Pretty (: Nd i lovee youre Videoss!!

  • I have never taken college courses for ASL and have no deaf family members, but I love this language and have been studying it for over a year and getting out in the deaf community. I sign at my church and I want to be more ASL. Your terps are excellent!! I can literally see the characters in this song. Are you a CODA?

  • How do you sign.... INCREDIBLE. =)

Courtesy from a deaf college student. :)

  • you are awesome my dear! I love it! keep up the good work!!

  • I am a University student minoring in ASL. My favourite practice is signing songs. I just did one today actually. Your sign transitions are so fluid, and beautiful, they flow together like you are painting a picture with your hands.

    I love watching them.

  • @Retrochick17 what an awesome compliment! Thanks so much!

  • This woman signs so beautifully <3 but idk why i'm having a hard time following the words with the signs. maybe it's because i just started signing a couple months ago if someone could explain to me anything is helpful thanks

  • It's probably just because you've just started learning! Don't worry, over time, you'll get this. It may be that you're expecting each word and each sign to "match," but since English and ASL are two different languages, there is no word-to-sign correlation like that. In other words, ASL is not "English on the hands" but its own language with its own grammar and sentence structure. Moreover, this is an interpretation of the meaning of the lyrics.

  • @Banerika Great. Thank you!

  • @mysticalsmerk , you're welcome. It takes time to learn ASL, so just keep studying. Best of luck!

  • I still LOVE this interpretation. Dude, you are phenomenal!

  • hi all devon chavez asl yes love beyonce all

  • I have been signing for years, I am fairly fluent, and I work in a Deaf classroom. I look up to you in so many ways, I have watched countless videos, and none are more true to ASL than this. You have a skill that cannot be taught, and you are a beautiful signer. I show your videos to my professors who love using your videos as an example of how to "really" sign. You are a natural.

  • Great job! I enjoyed your performance and you are a beautiful ASL user. Can I ask you to do Michael Jackson's "Will You Be There"? My wife and I are deaf and we discuss this lyric so much and we are curious who "they" are (But THEY told me A man must be faithful) We have ideas but are curious about yours. You seem to have a good sense of lyrics. You don't have to though... %^)

  • i have been studying asl for about a year and this is the asl at its best. i wish u were my teacher keep it up i look forward to seeing more!!!!

  • ur wonderful sign song is so beautiful!

  • again i must say this is my fav asl vid. out there

  • ErsatzEvianne- that sign at 3:29 means "don't know something" "know nothing"...hope this helps.

  • oh man.

i was so captivated in this.

    well done. =)

  • im loving your asl! its so beautiful

  • beautiful interpretation. I'm studying ASL at the moment. can anyone tell me what the sign at 3:29 is please? ^^

  • before CARE. ^^

  • cherish

  • Grief or maybe to grasp. In the interpretation, I'm guessing she used to mean grasp because it fits into the context of that part of the song.

  • The sign at exactly 3:29 -- the one where she closes her hand over her chin -- is "value" or "cherish"

  • That was great!! 5 *****'s (:

  • ten thumps up!!. what can i say? you are soo amazing with those hands. it was so smooth and fit into the song. keep up the great work!!!!!!

    by the way,im deaf :)

  • I have to say your interpretation is just simply AMAZING I don't understand ASL much since i teach myself by watching songs played in ASL :P but i can still see what's going on though I don't understand it if that makes any sence lol :P

  • BRILLIANT. I know I've commented before, but I thought it was time to do it again. It is really wonderful to watch someone who is fluent.

  • I hope you're going to post some others soon. I keep checking back!

  • She is so attractive. Beautiful song.

  • Awesome!!!!

  • Your signing is absolutely beautiful :) Keep up the great work!

  • your soo awsome:]

  • i love this song, great job!

  • this was heart-wrenching. *tears up*

  • You did a really great job. Can you do a how-to-do video no this song?

  • Wow, I love your signs. You put your own interpretation into every sign, giving this song almost new meaning.

    Bravo!

  • You are amazing and beautiful. But to all people that don't understand. While she does to signs right I believe this and her other videos are just her versions. She doesn't do nearly all the sighns she could and should do to fully sing the song. My wife is deaf and we been together 9 years so i do know a bit about it. But still very hot.

  • I think that you need to understanding the difference between "interpreting" and "translating". If she were translating the song, she would be signing word or word. However, interpreting is exactly that... an interpretration. Each professional ASL person may sign it a little differently. The goal is to get the exact message and point across - she's done that.

  • If she signed any more words, it would be Signing Exact English. It's a _good_ thing that she is spare with her signs and uses them with the rhythm of the song. All of the message is there. She has omitted none of the message. This is interpretation.

  • Do you know what is different of this language of Signing, PSE, SEE, ASL there is no prefect language in world, who ask you judge

  • Lovely.

  • WOW! That was brilliant. I truly have to admire how well you interpreted that! Very nice ASL structure!! I have a few videos you might like. Give them a look.

  • "Then They Do" by Trace Adkins.

  • Champion!

  • OMG I LOVE THIS !!!

  • wow - you made me cry, woman!! you're good. all the meaning & feeling in that song was evident on your face -- not just in your signing... very well done!!

    :bravo!:

  • youre really good, thought i would share mine :)

  • Thanks so much for using ASL and not SEE. I think you've really helped me improved my signing! I'm going to keep watching so keep 'em coming :)!

  • Question (I don't know if you have time to answer, but I'll cross my fingers).

At 1:17 you "draw" lines on your forehead, chest, etc. It looks like your "showing" that you and the girl (to whom the part refers to) have the same scars, feel the same pain. Is that what you mean, or am I way out on left-field while your busy playing tennis.

I love this video, you are amazing.

  • is this ASL ????because im confused

  • ASL stands for American Sign Language. tiffanythill is using ASL signs and acting out the song in an artistic/dramatic fashion.

This is actually an incredibly brillant interpretation. It's not word for word of the lyrics but the meaning of the song is coming through very clearly.

    It's brillant!

    More!!!

    Scott

  • i love your signing

  • I think amazing is the only word I can use to describe your interpretations of songs. I don't really understand ASL all that much, in my job I use BSL but still I think you do a marvellous job. Keep them coming! XX

  • I love your signs

I'm learning sign as well and you did so beautiful.

  • You go, girlfriend!

  • DANG!!! i luv dis one!! =D u should b on a TV SHOW!!!

  • wow. that was amazing! i felt so touched watching you sign.

  • wow i love to watch u sign in asl songs wow wow wow wow i love it , u r so good at it

  • you are so amazingly good!!!!

  • I wanted to tell you how incredibly beautiful that was. You did an amazing job. I don't sign, but I felt you and loved it.

    Beautiful.

  • your amazing. what did you do to become so good? i practice as much as i can. What is your advice?

  • After watching a couple others try signing this in ASL.. I kept seeing yours in my head.. so had to come back, watch again, and favorite.. you sell it so well. When people interpret a song in such a way, then I like the song more and makes me want to buy the song.. so, YouTube would be silly to take down ASL videos with music..

  • im only im ASL 1 soo i cant understand most of this because ur doin it all like advance lool but it looks amazingggggggggg i will definatly look this video up when im a lil fluent!! =] gooooood job

  • Holy hands! Keep up the AWESOME music interps! LOVE IT

  • :) I loved it!! You are very creative & expressive. Beautiful signing, Please make more videos :)

  • Great stuff, nicely done on the translation. Would love to collaborate one day. You an interpreter? Have you checked out all my music videos I produced? You can email me privately to work together someday.

    Kudos.

    Jade

  • man again you so really skill smh haha

  • you are a beautiful signer :]

may i ask what state or area you are in?

some signs i was not familiar with.

  • Girl you are extremely talented and wonderful! I am not deaf, but I ended up turning off the sound and simply watching your signing...I could follow the video very well! Good job.

  • NICE!!!
