  • Hey Kai, can you promote this link for me... there's a bit of an exciting movement going on. And sorry guys, I'm a noob.

Love, Tompwan (the blonde boy in the video)

And I didn't know there were so many comments, I would have replied. Apologies all - again, I'm a noob to this too.

    Message me please Kai.

  • what kind of skates do you use for these tricks ?

  • @chuyzlin Spend around £300 pounds and skate three times a week. It really doesn't matter too much, it's what's in your chest that counts.

  • You know you just took figure skating, made it easier, and called it a new sport. I know seven year olds that do the "720"

  • @ciekot You're right mate, it is an axle various. He can do some other cool stuff though to be fair, props to him :)

  • do u lot still skate ere??

  • @faucnhy Yes, mate drop me a message on facebook if you're ever down /tompwan - I'm down some Wednesdays

  • Yeah, and if you are interested, hit me up on facebook /tompwan

    I skate some Wednesdays.

  • i waz looking for skate boarding but this came up.......

    But that waz pretty cool

(i wish i could do that)

  • sso in other words a double loop on hockey skates?

  • Alex Hamel was canadian, he came over to meet me and all the other Notts skaters, sadly pretty much everyone in the videos have gone their separate ways.

  • @ShadowUrbex I'm back with avengence :D facebook me /tompwan

  • 900s would be pretty awesome... lol you weren't allowed to wear helmets? gayest thing i've ever heard.

  • Its stupid, we ain't allowed to wear any kind of pads, because our rink staff claim that its a danger to the other skaters and wearing a helmet might encourage us to do more risky things. Which we do anyway :p

  • @jmeiliunas What we do is against their H&S policies, so ALL of the footage is shot in the last 5 minutes of the session, not a lot of time, so appreciate away. facebook me /tompwan

  • 360 grabs isn't hard. any good skater can pull these off. sorry, i was expecting more i think.

    and wear a helmet.

  • Check out some of my more recent video, fakie 900, hardly anyone can pull those off. And yeah there are plenty of people who can do 360s, but few who can pull off 720s and 900s, and this was all filmed in public skating sessions, we weren't allowed to wear helmets...

  • @jmeiliunas Come and skate with us, you'll love it - we are extremely welcoming!

  • hello there which ice skates do you use??

  • I have nike bauer one95s, and also RBK 9Ks :)

  • ohhhh you have much money ? :D

  • Bauer are da best I have Bauer Supreme 05 Ice Skates they are just grate. Oh and nice ice skating :)

  • stand still while ur recording, its pointless to wobble

  • heyy can i put this on my bebo??? this is really cool

  • hahah this is so gay

    oh sorry its Xtreme

  • Dude, Seriously Who can't jumo over the blue lin? My ten year old nephew was doing that 2 years ago.

  • @firstfire603 Most people other than your ten year old nephew? He must be sick, and three years older.

  • thats not xtreme u learn that stuff in the first leval of ice skatting

  • Hahahah, I aint laughed that hard in ages, this video shows the first 720 in hockeys EVER to be caught on video, and there is now the fakie 900, as well as cab 540s etc, we are now also working on doing a B Twist in skates, if that is not xtreme tell me what is???

  • @angel78862 Fair call mate.

  • Check out my 720

  • dood.... do aggresive inline iceskating is for people who r scared to get a scrape

  • I do aggressive inline haha

  • dont think you cant get hurt in ice

  • i do aggressive inline :D

  • and ice hockey skating obv. :)

  • thats cool, i want to do some aggressive but i dont have anyone who does it

  • @southFLsrt4club I've got just the thing (PS: I'm the blonde one in the videos) facebook me /tompwan

  • Omg i was there.. this is toms vids? anyway. i remember that dude, he cudnt speak english to well, his 1st time on hockey boots he told me, u robbed the other half of the rink for that lmao. i remember them 3, tom Alex n Peter i think. dont see u skating anymore. msg me for my msn :]

  • @phatpkz YO! This is Tom, it's been years, but I'm back - hit me up on facebook /tompwan

  • so ein scheiss !!

  • do aggressive inline wayy better

  • we do aggressive too, but ice is another challenge, you can do things on ice you cant on the street, or half pipe, but you can do things on ice you cant on the street, i'd say their equal.

  • @HockeySk8er Kai, get your blades out and message me, I'm back!

  • why, why, why, why. Surely no more sad then leaving comments like that.

  • i skated with those lot yesterday. i tried that jump and its hard

  • I'm sorry to hear your rink won't let you do tricks :( My rink doesn't have insurance...they have a sign that says you alone are liable. It's a risk I am willing to take! ;) As a figure skater/Xtreme skater/Xtreme skier, a lot of my moves fall into the Xtreme category but the ppl just think I am "figure skating" because I also do that. If you slowed it down a bit a lot of the footwork and jumps could be considered acceptable...

well it's better than not getting to skate at all. ;)

  • deff awesome i give u sum sick props for that i thought i was gonna hit it and get it on here before anyone else you guys are truly going big im gonna have to step it up. :) keep in touch

  • Hey dude, im afraid there wont be anymore videos from me for a while, :( the notts ice rink dont cater for xtreme skating, and i have been told that if i am caught filming again, then i will be banned, and considering i want a job im not going to take the piss. I have asked about rink hire, but the insurance wouldnt cover xtreme skating. But i have been told that next year there will be a session for tricks etc, so i will start filming again then. Until then...Peace - Out

  • put a kit on you sad little twat chav then we'll see how good you are!!!!!

    just another public session nob

  • Get fucked, im no chav, i not even in many of these videos, and i DO play hockey, so of this stuff is actually pretty hard, but im more of a hockey player than an xtreme skater. (ps you can tell im not a chav due to the fact i use actual grama and not text speak.)

  • And hockey is only on so often, plus i have to travel for over an hour to play hockey, due to the fact that the Nottingham team start training at 11.30pm, and i have to be up to go to college at 6am. Public sessions are all that i can do between hockey, i play street roller hockey too.

  • @BudC51 I'm the blonde lad in the vidoes and sorry for the late reply - I've been away for 'a bit'. Facebook me /tompwan

  • Nice Video Guys gj

  • rinks, if they let you pay to get on their ice, whatever you do, are insured if you hurt yourself. all this insurance shit on public skating is bollocks. they are just affraid you take over the ice organically and want you to pay and cut yur balls off and become nicely organised like firgure skating and ballet jazz and whatever. Xtreme sports... insurance.... "Corp" stuff.... doesnt fit together....

  • I know what you are trying to say, and I believe we are talking about two different things. We were discussing insurance as a way to propagate the sport of Xtreme by providing insurance solutions. There is only one ice-rink I believe, that has formal and legal-binding insurance for the sport of Xtreme. It is the rink at which I teach. All other rinks allow certain degrees of "behavior" on the ice, but is not formally construed as the sport itself. I am dealing with this issue.

  • hi! hey guys, dont get into a corp. or a group! or an organised thing or whatever. i admire your stuff because you are independant and have to be clever to go in between the rules. that's what Xtreme sports is all about. If you get into insurances and corp. shit, you're just a step away from figure skating. you dont want that!

  • That is true, i don't want it to turn into something too serious, thats not what skatings about, its about having fun, and dodging the rules can be fun lol.

  • Xtreme is about fun, entertainment, and so on. However, Xtreme Ice Skating Corp is behind the sport istelf. A LOT of money was invested into this sport so far. One should take this sport as serious as any other sport. Also, you guys get to be involved in the making of it.

  • hey! here's alex. this prolite guy is trying to own Xtrem Skating.... Guys, I organise a show soon in Quebec. I rented many hours of ice time, figured out all the insurance and everything is allright. So it's possible without big money. Keep hope, stay yourself and forget about corporations. what you do is too nice to be owned or incorporated.

  • Please be advised that Xtreme Ice Skating is a totally unique and separate sport from figure skating. Insurance is absolutely necessary when teaching - - and is the law. We are here because we are more than just skaters, we are Xtreme Skaters.

  • I can totally agree with the insurance need when teaching, depending on circumstance, if i ran a workshop on Xtreme skating, then insurance is defininately needed, but if someone came to me in a public session, and said, "hey how do you do that" you shouldnt need insurance to teach them. And as for your above comment, i do know the diffence between figure skating and xtreme skating, although there are similarities, i.e. the style of some of the tricks.

  • I agree, Xtreme Ice Skating and figure skating are going to share similar properties in terms of movement because they're both skating sports. Xtreme Ice Skating moves, like you know, are almost always fast and furious. As far as public session, I agree about showing someone a trick without insurance. The rink holds insurance for public sessions. I guess we miss communicated.

  • Is NISA letting you guys get away with more stuff or has it been the same crap?

  • If by NISA you mean the staff at the national ice rink, no, when Alex was here he nearly got kicked out. The nottingham skaters are friends with some of the staff, and when they are on duty we get away with a lot more, but if not we get kicked out and banned

  • How Xtreme Skaters do you know in the UK? Perhaps in the short future, there will be a tipping point and enough of you can all put your money together to rent the ice once a week. There would have to be about 30 of you, and it would cost about 13-15 pounds an hour, which is like 30 bucks. You would probably need like 40 or more actually. If there's a way I can help, let me know.

  • In Nottingham the ice arena is setting up a session where people will be allowed to do tricks etc. At the moment its just an insurance matter.

  • Oh really? What time will the session be held? How many times a week? Do they require protective equipment? I have insurance to cover the sport and could provide them the insurance information.. but they would have to be sanctioned by Xtreme Ice Skating Corp., to get the insurance.

  • Its still being planned, i think it would be sunday night, and i dont think any equipment would be provided, the session would only be for regular skaters, and not specifically for xtreme skating / tricks.

  • But would equipment be required or is it a choice? Would people be able to skate however they wanted, or would there be restrictions? Oh, did you make a request or was it from the inside?

  • The equipment i think could be worn if prefered, but its not provided, people would be able to skate however they wanted, and its basically being set up due to the demand from regular skaters.

  • When did you notice that there were more and more people doing tricks? Or, was it always about the same?

  • Its always been about the same, but the staff are getting stricter, so they want to get the regular skaters out of public skating (apperently we scare the beginners) and into our own session.

  • @Prolite when I came on the scene and brought my aggressive inline to ice. Sorry for the late reply dude, you're ace. Facebook me /tompwan

  • Kool video. Thanks for the link.

  • Whoa ... thats heaps awsome ..

Is it just me or does that rink seem ..... very small .. like 1/3 or a full size :S

    Peace.
