  • spaci and rave

  • dude the 303 looks brand new

  • 106 likes, 105 dislikes..

    ITS.. UNEVEN... MUST... FI--

oh wait i don't have OCD. it's all cool.

  • 1:38 yeah thats a killer

  • great tune!

  • top banana! - nice one ;)

  • The 303 comes in and lights up things, very welcome. But far too much pitch shifting, dude. I miss my 303. But she went to a nice home, and I'll get one back one day. Did you know they only manufactured 10,000?!

  • yea this is a big no, but keep at it sir

  • its youtube audio quality's fault

  • dude! its just like 'acid rock' from rhythm device!

  • Sometimes fishermen have to throw back the fish they catch........

That TB is one of those fish....... It's an endangered species.

  • I feel like in Space!! hahah nice !!!

  • 2 great pieces of kit made to sound awful. Keep trying tho.

  • @Matic3d ++

  • @Matic3d micro korgs are fucking wank anyway but the 303 i agree

  • sorry, but don't spend that much on equipment. you somehow managed to make a 303 sound bad. i didn't think it was possible. go to my page and click the link to my "website" and hear some real acid.

  • @Elotium I think the 303 sounds okay but it's the Korg's ugly, hissy sounding, way over ring modulated pads adding a dirty fuzz when the freq's intermingle that doesn't do it justice. Cool stab at it though. Friendly advice: Just cause you can tweak a sound that way, doesn't mean you should. I've made that patch before myself and I still have never found a use for it that sounds good in a recording.

  • is thsat a zero4?

  • not bad i suppose, but you should put more emphesis on your tb303(try distortion or reverb pedels with it!!!!)coupled with the microkorg, it'll sound much fatter!!!!

  • I make music by dragging a stylus across my ball bag.

  • I propose that you give me your 303..

  • uuuh that sounds baaad. torture 4 the ears ; ) if u got enough money to buy a 303 spend money for an audiointerface

  • audio interfaces don't do video, and video cameras don't do audio interfacing, kind of a conundrum considering the extra effort that recording the video asynchronously and then re-syncing them in a video editing system would require.

  • @bananaxtree windows moviemaker for example is enough. there u can arrange the audio with the video file. keep up musicmaking.

  • LOL 1:08

    MORTALLLL KOMBAAAT!!!!

  • MORTAL KOMBAT!!!!

  • this is.. bad

  • fag

  • =((

  • huh, expected acid. suprise.

  • focus more on the TB-303............

  • dude where in the fuck did you find a 303

  • wtf?

  • AWESOME

  • at least the trance stuff is usually in key

  • can i buy your 303?

  • y wud u make this a video?

  • lol good effort... but maybe you shouldn't have made a vid... just a thought

  • what a waste

  • very spacy. thanks for sharing.

  • some parts reminded me of streets of rage lol

  • first ten seconds and i am in love. please produce more of this fancy music

  • This "fancey music" is called techno/electronica/trance or something,

  • you have no music theory at all.

  • Learn how to play it's so bad :/

  • ya.. no.

  • delete vid and retry - bad sound quality, but it's too bad... really! - and btw.. besides the quality, u just suck too!

  • nice try :)

  • sound of shit

  • If those things could talk, the 303 would say 'fuck off microkorg, you cheap plastic shit, I'M THE DADDY'

  • Hell yeah :) the Daddy and quite possibly always will be LOL

  • It is a real synth. ;)

  • ok.

  • I have a tb-303 for sale with case and manual $1500 shipped USA pm me.

  • Dude,

YOur demo is absolute nonsense. Anyone could do what you're doing with the hardware you have.

  • I have no respect for you! you use a micro with a 303? loser

  • can u use the micro korg, just for like playing piano for fun?

  • Well, yeah, if you want.

  • cool tnx

  • I recommend the microkorg xl which has a different type of sound and has piano tones

  • But you need a computer to edit all parameters which sucks!

  • hey. yes, get a midi > usb converter, a vst host and download a free vst called "mda piano" that will sound much better than anything either MK will get as far as a realistic piano. if you want those sorts of sounds get something ROM based.

  • I use all mda stuff I love it, I also quite like the 4front piano module, sounds better than fruityloops Piano synth thingy, (fl keys)

  • yeah, i love FL-studio's instruments (sytrus etc.) but their real world simulations suck at being real world. slayer sounds like a distorted hammond more than a guitar (which is cool anyway) FL=win though

  • Doesn't FL keys use the same samplebank as mda piano? I thought it did, I must be wrong though.

For a brilliant piano sound I'd recommend downloading a soundfont player, or using FL sound font player and googling "piano soundfont" you will find a free one, it's the main one going about. It is awesome.

I use an EWQL piano now but to be honest it actually isn't hugely better then the free soundfont.

  • hey thanks for the advice. mda might use the same samples but it's sound shaping is tons better.

  • That's true, I have used both and the sound difference is quite evident. FL Keys is pretty poor, you'd think they would add something much better then that, especially for the XXL version.

  • who the hell buys FL for acoustic simulation anyway. as much as they suck. it's hard to criticize because FL doesn't sell on piano. it's FL studio not piano studio. stuff like cytrus totally makes up for fl keys anyway.

  • soundfonts can be ok for certain sounds but i have yet to see one for piano sounds that wasnt garbage. multi sampled piano Vst's are really the way to go. truepiano, the grand, ivory. some of them can be a little hefty on your hard drive though.

  • Or you could search for 4Front piano VSTi plugin on google, shouldnt be too hard to find 1 of several sources of free download.

It's a no bullshit single sound plugin with a brilliantly clear sounding piano.

  • poor

  • dark spacey and groovy...iLike :-)

  • Would you be willing to sell that tb?

  • dude, I was going to ask him the same lol

  • I can't even find a clone dude.

  • ebay has em, but be ready to shell out at least 500 to 600, usually around a grand

  • nice man!

I´m looking forward to buy a MicroKorg, just saving money :D

  • spacy and kind of acidy I kind of like the tone of it. Good for danceing and going to sleep as well

  • i dont like your micro program. it sounds too much like the original factory sound.

  • haha previous comment is funny as hell, anyway, Microkorg + Roland TB-303 = Superacidspaceelectrocosmosounding machine!

  • Could you please tell me how the roland and microkorg are working together. thanks.

  • MIDI.

  • smokinbill: how are they working together? just like any other instruments work together right? this guys set up looks as if they are both being feed into that mixer and are being feed out through speakers

  • amazing how much depth u can get! i no its 2 synths but even so =]

  • tua madre

  • I love it and made a song about it

  • Do it mate, thanks

    Regards.

  • i don't know man, i only now the MK sorry ;)

  • Far out 303s are fricken awesome

  • muyyy buenooooooooo

  • Gracias !

  • Hi, I own a MicroKorg, and am tyring to get a spilt/dual effect going. Is this possible?

  • yeah, why not?

  • that thing is so awsome,i tried it at a music store, best synth ive ever tried

  • ;) yeah incredible sounds

  • nice!but in a vid of 4:10 i was expecting a beat a beat ;(

  • I know bass line I'd be using. Sound great. I used to have a MicroKorg. Great add on to any keyboard/synth.

  • Thanks a lot :)

    Kind Regards

  • Thats awesome! just put a little beat behind it and your ready for the next big hit!

  • hehehe thanks i will !!

    Kind Regards.

  • definitely abstract...

  • Gracias amigo

    Saludos desde Madrid, España.

  • Impressive.

  • thx

  • Got and EA1 and ER1 going through a roland EF unit... The three make my 303 come to life... Seems to be a thing pairing Korg's and 303's!

  • VERY IMPRESSIVE!!!!

  • Thanks man

  • I wanna know if the roland hp 1800e is good, could you answer me? thanks!

  • i don't know man, sorry

  • I would buy a microkorg like that *snaps fingers* if they didn't have the tiny keys!

I could understand if this synth was available in a range of models like 39 regular keys, 39 small keys, 0 key desktop/rack-mount, but for the life of me, I don't understand why it was chosen as the optimum model. But you can't argue with their popularity, far be it from me to cast aspersions if not like aren't not the most popular synths of the last 2 years

  • I don't mind the small keys, they should have made a keyless rack model though

  • Thanks a lot guys, i will send you the bassline notes, i have to search it, let me do it, i will keep u informed. really thanks

    Kind Regards.

  • that bassline is f***** awesome

  • thnks !

  • can you give me that 303 line? :D

  • I swear I've heard this 303 line somewhere, correct me if I'm wrong.

  • Reminds me somewhat of the bassline from Block Rocking Beats by The Chemical Brothers, although that used sampled bass guitar, not a 303.

  • Cool, you can make sounds virtually as good as a Minimoog on these.

  • I would say MicroKorg is an alright add-on to your live set-up. Correct me if I'm wrong but the 303 would need to be controlled by a pre-programmed sequencer otherwise it would keep your hands way too busy to do anything else live. I guess it depends how many of you are trying to play what... I dunno

  • que bueno és Juan, ohhhh guauuu

  • it sounds like "what time is love" acidified

  • pretty much what i have learned through experience is that getting the true sound of a 303 requires a real 303. but some of the newer clones sound awsome in their own way and are far more stable in the sence of tuning and programability. look up the xoxbox and the future retro products.

ok flame me now for suggesting 303 clones.

  • flame? no way, i reckon a fr-777 would stand toe to toe with a 303. okay not for that classic acid sound, but near enough and with bags more potential. but dont get me wrong i fuckin love the tb303.

  • i would definatly invest in a distortion stomp box and try it with that 303. accciiidddd

  • Korg > Roland

  • Surely recent production KORGs synth better than the ROLAND.but the ROLAND golden age are 80-90s.

    they were the legends then.

  • vay a.q bu ne böle whats this :)

  • Im reading the comment about the 303..I own a 303 and a micro korg..they are 2 complete different things..and to say 1 or the other is better is just ignorant..try them both...and for whatever your music style is choose to buy the one that fits it...its as simple as that..wow people are just so negative on you tube its funny...

  • Yes the microKorg is a great synth in a tiny package and you can get them cheap (250$us used at a pawn shop). I use it as my main synth engine and MIDI control for FLStudio. And with microKorg SoundEditor MIDI software it is easy to get the sound you want. I have to clarify: in this video, the 303 is NOT being vocoded or controlled by the microKorg. It is possible and it sounds awesome. MIDI sync the 303 as a slave and send the audio back through a vocoder patch and you will have hours of fun.

  • you sound like you know what youre talking about... why are you using fruityloops like some 12 year old in their parents basement

  • fl studio has alot of power if you know what your doing. the easy to use interface is perfect for making quick little beats on the fly. download some good drum samples or make your own to use with it and get some good synth plug ins and then you will understand.

  • yea its a really underrated program but if you know what you're doing it's a very nice little sequence program

  • definitely not. the microkorg is awesome. its just the sound quality of this video doesnt do the keyboard justice. plus, she cant play.

  • at first i was like"why would you het a microkorg when you got a 303...?" never mind .. it's obvious now!

  • awesome like it

  • cool! i like the effect!

  • Thanks

  • Are you using the MK's vocoder to process the TB-303?

Because I don't hear the TB-303 at all.

  • yes he is!

Remember that the microkorg doesn't have a internal sequencer

  • you don here aciiid? you maad

  • no, it's running alone

  • cause you dont know the sound of the 303

    the 303 is purely there

  • Hey great video! I'm planning on getting the MicroKorg really soon and I was wondering (and I know this question has been asked before on other videos) but would I be able to plug the microkorg strait into like a guitar amp or possibly my computer speakers? I want to make sure I get everything I need. I don't want to end up getting it and not being able to play it lol. Thanks...

  • yeah if you wanna to connect your guitar to the microkorg that is possible, you can to plug it on microkorg audio in, and play mikrokorg at the same time,

    regards.

  • Is this device for jazz/blues performing better Dr/Bass via midi than you hear from this very old Technics KN2000 ? -

Please hear the example on YouTube » tapez : ankhaton

  • nice stuff but u seem 2 neva du wat fuckin say u will
