  • Oh! Great AdiShankara charya ... Ahambo abivadaye.. bps

  • I think, it is quite difficult in Hindu Society not obey to the dogmatic tradition, or even to break with it. With time religion seems to degenerate and becomes a subject of mind only, it ends in Dogmas. So great souls have to come and do acts, which are undogmatic and free of any kind of hypocracy. Jesus did so and Buddha also, but because people are unable to understand and to live according to truth, dogmas again rise and lead to static traditions, it seems.

  • The name of this movie is Adi Shankaracharya and the movie is in Sanskrit. If you want to download this movie, it is available on Torrents. To know more about Adi Shankaracharya and his Advaita philosophy, you can google it.

    Best Regards

  • brother did u find this movie, I shall be gratefull if you share with me.

  • Shankara is not decrying tradition, He's explicating a subtle point within it.

  • Well, I think decrying tradition is done subtly here. The very point that an ascetic cannot perform final rites was dogmatic according to shastras.

'Nirvanashtakam' that Shankara sings later is only his reflection of the ignorance he sees in the society.

  • sAdhuH sAdhuH!!
