What a fun video and song. Roy's Mince Meat tart oddly enough brought to this song through various links around the web. From here to outside music ( who unfortunately couldn't get hard copies in a timely fashion) so off to CD Baby and I downloaded the album. Enjoying it immensely. It would be great if you get the other footage you mentioned edited and posted; or perhaps digitize it and put it out there and see how people would put it together for you and repost.

I discovered UHF via an excellent movie, "Bye, Bye Blues," which included the song, "When I Sing," sung by the lead character. It seemed to me a natural anthem for anyone for whom music is an essential element of life. I tracked it down to UHF and sent for the CD which came directly from Shari. UHF and "When I Sing" in particular are precious jewels in my treasure chest. Everyone should have their music! Info on the movie is in Wikipedia.

@shariulrich I just purchased Fear of Flying from itunes...lol..and Almost Over night by Roy...and Crazy Old Moon...and a few others by Roy..and a few from Valdy and they are bringing back so many great memories. I grew up west of Calgary and never had the chance to see any of you live. Definatly my loss...please keep on posting here on youtube for us all!

I grew up listening to both albums and i still listen to them this day I just turned 20 and am going to see them tonite in Edmonton and this will be my third time :)

This was a great trio. Saw UHF live in Sherwood Park back in the day. I might even still have the poster from this session. Love this song, and the album. Great cuts. The 2nd album was just as fine. Keep lightin' that fire!

Oh WOW! I used to go and watch Bim when I lived in southern Alberta back in the late 70s. I fell in love with his Kid Full of Dreams album and only wish he would re-release it! So happy to have found this clip. I think I will also buy his mum album! Love him!

Two albums that got a LOT of play at my house, in a soundtrack-of-my-life kinda way: Flying, and UHF II. So it's lovely, and ridiculously cheering, to see this video and have those memories surge back. I take it this is the only video made for UHF II, alas. And Shari, who would a fella have to bribe to get UHF into a studio again?
