The whole point of these new movies is to create a batman that is completely different than the 60s Batman, the way Batman was originally portrayed in comics and the way it was intended. I guess it seems worse to me when I see Al Roker dance like a moron.
Don't think much of it. I don't know if you watch a lot of morning TV, but no matter what subject matter they deal with it always has a lighter, easy-to-digest substance to it. I guess it makes it easier for people at large to watch and enjoy early in the morning. There are plenty of us who appreciate how Batman has evolved from a campy guy in tights to a more realistic, aesthetically pleasing image, so don't fret.

I think the extra mobility of the new suit will really pay off on screen when we see him moving in it. In the lighting of these behind the scene videos, it looks a bit odd, but in the final shots i'm sure it will do just fine. We'll get some really good stunts in this suit.

If I remember correctly, he said he doesn't speak in his usual Welsh accent during interviews because he didn't want people confused that the man who played Bruce Wayne doesn't really sound like him.
This is not as good an interview as I think fans would appreciate, but maybe the film-makers don't to give away too much. That's my theory anyway and if so, that's excellent of them because I don't want to see it all in trailer-form before it hits the big screen, you know? It's a very special film and well worth the wait :-)

Ok ok...so when they used that cheesey theme song from the old TV show at the beginning I was thinking "lame"....BUT did you all notice their crappy journalism skills??? Look when Al Roker says "you've got this amazing cast...christian bale...morgan freeman..HEATH LEDGER.." Look at the photo they put up when they say Heath Ledger!! That's not Heath Ledger.....that was an internet viral hoax before the cast was even announced. It's a photoshopped photo from some 1940's movie.....oh my oh my...

Christian Bale is awesome, one of my favs. Michael Keaton are definitely the best Batmen ever. Can't wait for this one!

I think the extra mobility of the new suit will really pay off on screen when we see him moving in it. In the lighting of these behind the scene videos, it looks a bit odd, but in the final shots i'm sure it will do just fine. We'll get some really good stunts in this suit.

Somebody please tell me after 40 years and new, more accurate versions of Batman later that whenever the mainstream media does a report on Batman we need to hear the old TV show theme? Way to disrespect the character with the Batusi before you do your report, Roker!

If I remember correctly, he said he doesn't speak in his usual Welsh accent during interviews because he didn't want people confused that the man who played Bruce Wayne doesn't really sound like him.

This is not as good an interview as I think fans would appreciate, but maybe the film-makers don't to give away too much. That's my theory anyway and if so, that's excellent of them because I don't want to see it all in trailer-form before it hits the big screen, you know? It's a very special film and well worth the wait :-)

I had read about how they made that new cowl that would allow batman to turn his neck in this new movie... and I had also seen the making of batman begins where they mentioned at one point how his neck being so thick made him seem like a panther and what not the thing is now that his neck is all thin he just looks like he's got a huge head... this new cowl sucks ass!

I like the new suit but the one thing I did like about the suit in begins is the neck, it gave him a huge neck that made him seem like a beast or an animal.

Exactly! And that's exactly what they said in the DVD Features about that particular cowl and how that huge neck made him seem like a panther or something... but that pencil neck he has now just makes it look like he's got a huge ass head!

why cant' people accept this is a new franchise. Everytime anyone does any coverage of batman begins or the dark knight they make references to the other movies. NO wonder people get confused. I loved the 60's batman but this is a darker approach so you don't need the cheesy music.

It was kind of a mix and his welsh was in there a little. When he does interviews he tends to use an accent close to the one he is using in that movie.
