As for steam and flu gases... your half right... The stove doesnt look like stainless any more... went through a lovely range of colours but now its mostly black... Will buy a new thermometer just for you ;)
I didnt say steam coming out of flue, read it again. If theres steam coming from HEAT EXCHANGER then the flue gases passing through must be at least equal in temp. And please show us the vid of the see through flue. If your flue is at 20c the fire will go out.

As for the 20c after temp ,if theres steam coming out flue temp must be at least 100c. And if it was 20c ,it would not be light enough to rise up the chimney and start a thermal syphon. Get a fan like I did. If you think you have made a heat exchanger that extracts 1380c from the flue give Worcester Bosch a call, theyve been trying to do it for years.
Its almost see through when its on properly, not just red... steam does not come out of the flue... no thermal syphon which is a problem, need good ambient draw up flu. No mistakes here...
No, it is not a gassifier. It is a waste engine oil stove but it will run on wood and coal. The two heat exchange boxes are just like you get in a steam train boiler... they are design to catch the heat that was wasted up the chimney.
...and I've already burned my fingers.
....and it takes that long for my kettle to boil 1 litre!

so is this a gasifier? nice results, I am very very careful with steam as steam burns are very nasty, but looks like very impressive results!
