no, i'm not saying audioslave was bad, but Audioslave DEFINITELY had NOTHING on Soundgarden. I'm a little biased because I hate Rage Against The Machine...mainly because the only good musician in Rage was the bassist...Political Rock Sucks...but back to Audioslave, they weren't bad by any means. At least Chris Cornell made his own music back then...

i totally agree, i cant stand most political rock and for the few i do like it has nothing to do with the meanings of the songs. but of course audioslave wasnt as good as soundgarden but i like a lot of early audioslaves songs, but they did begin to fade and as of right now i still like chris's new music but i always love his old stuff more.

I don't listen to political rock because of the message, just the tune. But besides that, agreed that Audioslave was not incredible music, but they released 3 decent albums with a few excellent songs. All of which are better than this.
