Mercedes Benz C320 Top Speed 0 - 258km.h

Yesturday i did try my C320. I was lucky and had 6 km German Autobahn for myself so finally i could do it. Flat out i drove it till 253 km/h. And it really couldnt go any faster than that. The video u made must be down hill. Till 220 km/h its fast but over 220 it takes quit some more time than on your video. But like i said, it is possible that yours is faster. No car is the same, even with same engine.

I have the same and yes, it is fast. I drove mine till 250 km/h and than i stopped. But the Benz could go faster... Only from 220-250 it did go a litle bit slower than on this video. But maybey yours is faster ;)

@Trabi1973 That also depends on the type of tires you are using, the direction of the wind (going against the wind highers the acceleration time plus fuel consumption) and the road it self.

I bought my C240 new in 2001 and I got about 150k on it now. I have never had a single problem with the car ever other then the muffler leaking from rust because of winter driving.

this is incredibly stable car..225km/h hardly any vibration..plus this car second/third hand is quite 'affordable' around £19 783. But im concerned with maintainance cost though, how much often this car break down? and i know Benz spareparts are exorbitantly expensive.

ich würd auch mal kurz das gaspedal loslassen, damit der motor nicht dauernd in den roten bereich dreht. ansonsten ist es sehr aufschlußreich.

-leave the engine time to change gears in order to make less rpm which is better for the engines mileage and life endurandce. everything else is quite informative

The C30 CDI (A five cylinder diesel engine originally from a merc sprinter, modified by AMG) Will smoke the 320 anytime. More power and a lot more torque..

if you are gettin' 320 engine get it on C body, it's a bit smaller and i believe a little faster than E. i know that E class looks prettier but the size is advantage in C class, i was once at your position

and i picked C class after driving both E320 and C320.

back in 2003 i used to have e320 and c320 i liked e320 better but you can feel that c320 was little faster now i have a 2008 e63 amg and a 2008 c63 amg and honestly e is faster

@jitterball Not everyone will agree with you. Sure we all know C 320 feels and is more faster over E320, but some people want a bigger car, and E320 is the answer for many. There is a HUGE difference in rear legroom, and front as well. E320 does not feel that bad at all too even.

i am sorry to say that the 2nd gen c320 is the biggest disappointment that benz have ever produced...the break downs...just thinking about it is giving me a headache...cost me over $5,000 in repairing so far

true, any mercedes between the model years 1998-2004 have HORRIBLE reliability. i hav a 2002 e320 and its been in the shop3 times within the last years and its only got 75K miles on it. the newer Mercedes are much better both in quality and reliability since they arent under Chrysler ownership anymore.

my c240 was a pretty car but 4 bad fuel pumps a complete ecu shut down and had to have the throttle body replaced i was happy to see it go. not a very secure feeling to be going 200-km/h and have the motor cut out

the usual mb mechanics are shit, parents have had many problems with the mechanics. Not saying ur dads one, but sometmes you get the feeling theyre not doing their job well. This is in switzerland.

excellent take off... i tested my 01 mercedes c320 with esp off and got an average of 7.3 seconds to 60 (with the weight of a full tank of gas and 180bls (me). ive looked at your video many many times and am guessing you got around my time, Mercedes says our cars could do 96km in 6.9, what a total lie.. -_-

Yes they can do 0-60 mph in about 6.5-6.9 seconds. With my 2001 c320, I average about 6.8, but my best so far is 6.5 with the ESP off. With my 02 c32 amg, I get a 4.6 sec 0-60 stock!

That car is fast. The funny thing is I got both, the c320 (black on black) and the c32 amg (silver). Both beautiful cars. The amg cannot compare to the c320 in ride comfort, while the c320 has no chance performance-wise against the c32 amg. There is a night and day difference between these two cars aside from appearance.
