what does the detergent do?

@whereswally1996 without detergent = blow out water, then puff of air. puff of air has small momentum transfer because lower mass.

with detergent = air and water more homogenised (in bubbles) --> more constant mass flow --> longer flight.

at least that's my theory

mine hav been like a minute and 20 sec i got a 40liters booster and 10liters substainer and on 160psi went to like 500m++ i got build in cam not posting on youtube sorry

Lol. dry ice =/= water rocket. Also, dry ice is expensive. Also, it was unpressurised so it couldn't have launched into my balls

BUT you should be careful with the bottles under pressure! if they explode it may cost you some fingers if you hold the bottle in our hands
