is there an app that would give me control of screen light when phone is plugged in. When driving only gps app keep the screen on, but i like to keep the screen on when using winamp or other non-gps apps. unlocking screen is also annoying when charging.

Phone works just fine. Doesn't come with sd card. At least our demo unit didn't....but the phone is actually pretty nice.

Sajam, check out TheDroidGuy's YouTube channel and website. Some good tutorial stuff on there. If ur Mac is snow leopard it IS compatible. Just need to sync ur Mac to google.

I won this phone and it will be my first android - where do you suggest i get the best info on how to get started and everything i need to know.. seems complicated and a lot of conflicting info about android, apps, etc online. Also worried cuz I use a Mac and its address book and calendar and thats not going to be compatible with this...I was planning to hold off on an iPhone for another year -and esp when this came along but don't want to be having 2 calendars etc and garbage apps

@sajam500 All you have to do is add use your google email on iCal. and it's all connected. The google email has to be your default email though as in the email you add all your events to. And it will sync everything automatically. I have a Galaxy S II and it works for me, im running OS X Lion on my Mac
