@anapao89 Go on wikipedia and read a bit about the recent history of Nigeria and some information on the country. When you have learned something about you can go and gather information (not from wikipedia) and slap something together.

@ImAllFact Why not? in AMUNC 2010, the entire conference (700+ people) decided to start a nuclear war between Iran and Israel because we were all bored. seriously, you can see the video on YouTube.

I participate in the M.U.N. too and my motives are exactly the opposite. I hate pseudo-politics but I love democracy: why not to stand against those "empty" ideas and say your opinion?

Ultimately, by participating in model UN we experience what its like to take part in the UN, and experience first hand just how incapable and ineffective the United Nations is in responding to crisis situations.
