  • I need one of those at my girlfriends house for after dinner and sex

  • Suspect it's to test the ejection system for planes..

  • Ummm... very cool, but what is this about? I will admit that I used to like the New Scientist blips because they were both cool and informative. Without the informative, however, they lose the cool.

  • @DuZhod Check the video's description:

It's a test of an ejection system that "will be used in Lockheed Martin's new F-35 Lightning single-seat fighter jets".

  • aww i thought it was the project nasa was working on :(

where they have a rocket on a track of magnets (i guess like a rail gun?)

for a mile or two and launch it that way rather than use the loads of gas to produce enough lift use the magnets to build up enough air lift and then use the booster :D

i want to see that :D

  • @purehawaiianboi23 I remember seen the idea a long time ago. I guess it isn't gonna happen. :(

  • @purehawaiianboi23

You folks do realize this is how they test ejector seat designs, right?

  • @chicagotransam you do realize i said i thought it was and then decided to explain what i was talking about so that everyone can understand but obviously not everyone could and im sorry for that :D

  • @hereswelsh Wouldn't have hurt them to post that under the video, right? They seem to be pretty lazy about the descriptions lately. I think I remember them doing a much better job narrating and describing their videos in the past.
