I loved the old Pokemon show. I used to watch it all the time. Unfortunately, once they got to Johto, things seemed to go a bit downhill. I'm not at all sure why... Love the Kanto Pokemon series, though.

This song is from the episode "Pikachu's Goodbye." in it, Ash and Co. find a colony of Pikachu in the forest, and Ash somehow gets it into his head that Pikachu would be better off in the wild. So actually, Ash is the one saying goodbye. Don't worry. It all works out.
