My favourite Fleetwood Mac song never made it onto its album :( I've always been in love with Silver Springs. i'm glad it's on a couple of live DVDs and finally on the greatest hits album *squee* so I can have it on my iPod. The Dance has always been my favourite version. I love the epic drama created during the song.

Well, in my view, he's a big fan. There's footage of Lindsey at the MTV Purple Rain Premiere Party and he's just all about diggin' Prince. There's an influence there in the mid 80's, although slight, if not similarities in creative work approach. Solo artists obsessively working solo in studios, slightly eccentric and iconoclastic vibe LB has, etc. Now, Im not saying vocally and such, just in overall creative approach vibe. Both very unique and different than most other male artists in Rock.

There's NO ONE else like Lindsey in my book. However, I do see your point of view. By the way, I have that  rare 1984 era Lindsey/Purple Rain footage, but I currently have no way to access it since it is on one of my 80's era betamax tapes. Remember those?! (lol) (:

Hey Jackie, thanks so much for these interviews, they are great, wow Lindsey's hair back in '84. Listening to him you can tell he's a person who's complex and has a different way of thinking. He comes across as a genius, which may have been the reason he got into trouble with everyone in the group.
