1. A clean house is the sign of a boring life.

2. My apartment is 483sq ft. The supplies for my hobbies take up...probably 1000sq ft

3. Closet/storage space is virtually nonexistent in my home.

4. Chickens are actually no more trouble than a cat.

5. I'm a busy girl! I work full time, I'm a full time grad student, I'm a literacy volunteer, I like to cook and bake and sew, I go to church, I go to a small group every other week, I play D&D every other week, I like to read, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Cleaning isn't high on my list of priorities.

Lucky dog! You must be in Podunk to have extra rooms. In NYC I'm lucky 2 have a 2BR for family! We were in a studio until the kids. Still need a recording room. A friend had a 4-track in his studio apt. in NYC...now he has a 24-track in a house in Nashville!

I'm in Troy, which is right across the river from Albany. It isn't Podunk unless you consider anything outside of NYC Podunk (I know some people do). Troy has the advantage of being a small city that is filled with mostly regular poor people and some artists, so outside of a certain four-block radius, apartments are pretty cheap.
