As I know it is not longer possible that he could play for the play national team. Christian already played for all german national teams, except the senior team. The FIBAs regulation not allowes it to change the national team if you're already played for another.

Otherwise I don't think that he wants to play for the phil national team because he played his whole life for germany.

it's possible. FIBA allows sport citizenship change. like chalie villianueva of USA who played for US U-20..now he completed his papers & can play for Dominican republic after USA released him. But. still it's Christian's decision..the only chance of Philippines to acquire his service is if Germany will not include him on your National team at all in the future..so Christian might consider playing for his mother's country.

Okay, thank you for this information, it was new for me. But I don't think that he wants to leave the german national team. Also Germany always will give him a big role in the team. Christian ist one of the most talented players in Germany, he will have a big career!
