To be fair, most people played the Trigger first and had that expectations while Cross was the first one I played and I feel the story and battle system are much more deep and complex yet the characters in Trigger are more memorable. Music in both games are masterpieces from the same genius composer so...yeah I like Cross better probably cause I don't have that nostalgic feeling with Trigger. =\

It's boring, holy crap is it ever freakin' boring.

The story (which isn't static with new games) has an interesting premise, and the combat system is fun and interesting at first but MAN does it get boring after a while. There's no sense of urgency, and elements (which are the techniques in the game) must be equipped. The characters don't even feel like individual characters, just the same thing remodeled with different stats, they all attack almost the same way.

Chrono Cross is such an enjoyable game. I've never really understood the bashing it gets from so many people. Probably my biggest gripe with the game is they tell you at the very end some of the questions that remained throughout the game, which felt kinda lazy, but that's simply my opinion on the matter. The music absolutely rocked and the game was fun. Can't go wrong with that combo, right?

It's great to see the three of them again but damn, I miss Flea's old hair style. I wish they had kept that. Don't get me wrong, he looks good in anything, and I'm a huge fan of short hair. no, you need at least 3 playthroughs. in 2 you can get everyone but either nikki,pierre or guile. thats the only escenario where you have to choose between 3 characters. at marbule you get either korcha,mel and razzy if you decide to save Kid, or Doc, glen and macha if you decide not to.

the low point about chrono cross vs chrono trigger is that the story involving time traveling is more atractive than dimension crossing, in fact is easier to develop.. still the environment of chrono cross catches anyone, playing it for the first time was damn exciting. however I dont see these as different games but as the chrono series, and is my favorite game.

your battles seem to take a loooong time. idk if it is just this boss or what. I used Serge, Grobyce, and Karsh, gave karsh tons of healing spells and some to grobyce, because twords the end of the game if you kill dario, Serge becomes the strongest, focus him on just attacking and it will go faster.
