Kind of interesting that the Super GT code just happen to trigger the right tracks on the STCC board. I used to do something similar with system 11 pinball machines... putting F-14 Tomcat sound roms in a PinBot is great fun and you hear all sorts of unused sounds.
Wouldn't mind hearing the other music it triggers on the other tracks.
You probably already know that I LIVE for playing Beginner-Night when playing Sega Super GT/Sega SCUD Race. ??? When I heard this video, you replaced "Flight in the Dark" (my favorite song in the entire game with "Don't Drop Me" from SEGA Touring Car Championship, as well as another song. My favorite car, my favorite track, my all-time favorite arcade racing game... that's five star material! Great driving!
Yes, John, I love Flight in the Dark, as well. However, the more I play this game with the STCC soundtrack, the more I'm amazed at how well it fits. The only real bummer of this setup is that I really don't care for the Beginner-Day music (Are U Awake?). That song is pretty repetitive, and it's certainly not in the same league as Groovin Daylight. Oh well, you can't have everything. Thanks for the comment!
