wait why would they get canceled for saying superbowl besides they say it like 5 times in this scene alone daria was on longer than this episode so they didn't get canceled for this show because they even had the daria movies and it ends with the "is it college yet"

I totally agree with you about Daria being a high point. I never saw Beavis and Butt-head (and never wanted to), so I wouldn't necessarily agree with it being a high point -- except that it *did* bring us Daria.

I love the show but isn't it better that it went out at a logical concussion rather than trying to stretch it out as long as possible? Besides it really was a late 90s type show, it captured a moment in time which had to end eventually.

They were going to do a Mystic Spiral spin off but it didn't go through.

@NarutoCuti Actually MTV didn't stop it,the producers did. MTV wanted a sixth season but the producers said they didn't have any more stories to tell and felt the series had run it's course. So they created the movie "Is it college yet?" to wrape up the series.
