i always thought, the landing speed of 777 would be 130 miles. Isnt it ?

@KaiserFeuerscheisser depends on landing weight current conditions such a wind etc........... landing cant always be at 130mph? its in knots not mph

@soquan Although altitudes would generally be shown in feet in most Western countries, but altitude can also be displayed at the push of a button in metric too! This is because some countries use this rather than imperial measurement. These include places such as Russia and other eastern block nations.

@Phil1480 Sorry buddy... talking out of your arse... look up tu-154 cockpit in google images and have a look at some of the instruments... vertical speed in meters... altitude... meters... airspeed... kph. Look up aribus glarshield and check out the button next to the altitude knob... says meters alt... thats for when ur flying into parts of the world where metric systems are used... e.g. russia.

@nicky7789 my frnd alltitude always in feets in the cockpit ,,,,,,,,but in the back cabian tv for paseengres there is in feets and meters ,,,,,,,and speed is also always in knots ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

This plane is a dream to fly. I always handfly for takeoffs, landings too if good visibility. These pilots always let the autopilot takeoff and land. I'm old school I guess. Pilots today rely too much on the autopilot. Usually I'll let my 1st officers engage autopilot above 15K ft. Other Captains turn on autopilot after lined up for takeoff. Sad.
