I often ride with my backpack on, but it seems just a bit easier to park up the bike, walk into the food place, shove it in my backpack/pay for it when off my bike, then get back on the bike and ride away. Still, you made it look fairly straight-forward to do it drive-through styleee. :)

Why not just go inside instead of the drive-thru? I considered going through the drive-thru on bike but the odds they won't be able to hear me and ease of just going inside (gotta love air condition or a break from riding/wearing helmet) just makes it better for me just to go in.

I actually don't have a car. I go out and I look at the car then I look at the bikes. Then I pick one of the bikes. The car used to just sit in my carport. So I sold it. I always have a bag smooshed into the seat cowl with some rope and a Gerber. Boxes can be worn like backpacks with some creative roping.
