I have a respect for real cultural countries, including this and Japan, Thailand, etc :).....I think, They all deserve better than they get from us north americans---but were assimilating the world. At least, places like Thailand are still generally positive despite their poverty......americans could never be happy in other country's shoes

Scotland had freedom until the ill fated Darien scheme in 1699 which bankrupted the scottish economy, they then turned to westminster to help them out and stabilize their currency, and so joined the union of their own free will. Scotland is a beautiful country and is close to me as I am of Scottish decent. My father is scottish and so is his entire family, infact we of the clan Lamont. England and Scotland have shared blood, war and hardship and should be brothers.
