Those are reverse camber skis, thats why his technique is different.

Yeah, they are incredible in powder, but no good on pack, regardless of how soft the pack is. They have a reverse camber shape than standard skis. They function more like water skis. So, if you had reverse camber skis, your form would adjust accordingly.

horrible technique over rotation will kill you in the powder, and you can see him struggle often, traversing, and stalling powder skiing is like skiing the bumps dive, and release dive and release, you dont lean back at all,if you do this is when you begin to rotate the upper body, and the skiing becomes laborious and inconsisten.

you have never skied im powder have you? if you dont lean at lest a little back your tips go under and you stop moving you need to keep some weight back and the tips out and for the most part that involves over exaderateing your movements

movements are essentially more exaggerated. weight is slightly further back to keep tips up, but other than that it's more or less the same. much greater flex/extension to initiate the turns.
