Lennon realizes that wuthout The Beatles and other British invasion groups rock music probably would never have been made acceptable to society and popular and brought to the US. Steven admires many other rock n rollers who came before him, and not only paid tribute to the Beatles nad Lennon on many ocassions, he was "honored" to play for Beatles Paul himself recently.
