i agree iphone has the smoothest most elligent touch screen out there it is very responsive to your finger, very accurate and it lasts. yes it is made of glass but it dosent break easy and it is very durable. i have droped my iphone so many times and there is not a scratch or crack on it. iphone has got to be the best it changed evrything in the phone market. to many rivals are tryig to compare. As a long time fan of HTC I would go with a HTC device if I was You. The costumization You can make to the phone is awsome (check out XDA Devs forums). But the HD2 is not a good choice in my opinion. It is simply HUGE. It's just too big. Have You actually seen it live somewhere? I think it's just too big for a phone. Go with HDMini or the new Android devices (witch are not so costumizable to be honest, not like the WinMobile devices are).

Since apple knows that N97 will compete in the market, they made 3gs to compete and too bad, N900 dominates the market now. it is the best smartphone you can ever have currently so apple is making 4g to try and take on the challenge from Nokia. Ohter phones like HTC and droids will be top competitors later on but for now they rush things too much and there seems to be flaws in their products.
