Sheridan was the most successful and still hugely popular from her long run on Knots Landing when cast on Desperate Housewives and a major player in the show's giant success. I can still see the original 'teaser' promos of Edie's character soaping down the car and asking Mike if he was a plumber and wanted to "clean out her pipes". I guess getting kicked off the show was the thanks she got. I hope she wins big.
I have to admit it was pretty cool how ede died, first the old Karen lady smashed orson for robbing the house then ede nearly hit orson and bam she crashed. I hated her she was the worst character!
@harryh97h it wasn't karen who hit orson, it was another old neighbor named rose, if you had watched season 5 episode 20 you'd have known that it wasn't karen, that episode tells us about rose's heart attack after edie's accident !
Edie is a legand and the story seems right, because if you see Nicollette on interviews and stuff in about January 2009, shes like 'i still love working on the show', look at her on 'Ellen'. Then like two months later she leaves the show, and plus i think they should offer her a guest star in a episode or something...

Also, why wait a year to file the suit, if it was such a bad assault then why not sue him right away. My guess is, she left at the wrong time.
