Looks to me like that's snow sticking to the sausage after it fell on the ground. It's not obvious that that is a powder burn. Your cylinder blast videos were more impressive.

Line of snow along the bottom but you can clearly see the blackened end/tip of the sausage.
The ones done with the S/A's were more for my own amusement/fun...
