I recently beat this game and I gotta say it deserves a 5 out of 5. It's just so comedically driven. The story line is just great and the voice acting is great. Everything is great and I wish we could have storytelling like this in modern day games. I miss the old point and clicks and by my standard they are spectacular genre of games. It was Lucas Arts in it's prime. My favorite char is the metal dude. For all who haven't played this I implore ya! Long live the days of old!
The dawn of the fps! Have you ever played Little Big Adventure. They were made in the mid-late 90's. They weren't point or click but were hell fun to play! I put LBA2 in my top 5 games!
Yes I have ! It was huge if I remember correctly, though I always preferred Ultima Pagan... similar game though not sure if that was before or after but ah well. I still have my collectible coin and map (in handy tea towel form hehe) :]
Good to hear people play the good games =] I still have LBA2. The original game, before it was rename Twinsun's Odyssey! Great game with Great Childhood memories!
I actually have this game and Sam&Max Hit The Road and sam and max owns, but the DOTT doesn't work past the lucas arts logo and the sounds of sam and max do not work. Any ideas? By the way, I have the PC CD-ROM version.
hmm...scratched disk...if not what system you running them on..if xp i advise you download dosbox and run it in that. Just drag and drop the game .ex.e onto the dosbox.exe =]
Hey, can you tell me how you got the sound to work on your floppy disk version of DOTT? I'm not sure which settings I should choose for my game to work properly...
i got an iso disk file off of limewire and used scumm to play it after i burned the iso to a disk; my five year old loves to watch me play. which is great because i played this for a large part of my childhood
Aww too bad, Sam and Max were classics, and they released new ones in an episodical format for a low price for download to play through. They look great, didn't get rid of the classic look and feel of the old adventure games, should try em out.
I remember when I first saw this game on TV on a preview, looked so amazing, and I remember when I first installed the floppy disk version back in 93, feels like it was YESTERDAY. I still remember some of the dialogues, scenes, and music. Never played with the full voices though...
i havent played it with the full voices...the file was 256mb..no way was it gunna be o the floppy version lol...luckily i borrowed my mates cd version!
0:08 is where I would get the EMM not enough memory error each time. Game still loaded though! :)

5 people have no brain and thus no sense of what a quality game intro should be like.

Brilliant game. One of my top favourites alongside Simon the Sorcerer 1 & 2. You just can't beat the humour in them.
What happened to these types of games anyway? They just died out! =[

ELPicko2 4 years ago
I think a re-release would ruin it...its a classic..no classics can be re-released without it being ruined!
spikeman14 4 years ago
I would just say redo all the graphics, but keep them full 2d, just higher res.
Aberusugi 4 years ago
