fwd's cant drift. thats it. if you ACTUALLY know anything about driving and cars, you'd know that. even what ken block and other rally/gymkhana drivers isn't really drifting, it's simply sliding. drifting can ONLY be done with a rwd.

@austinzarpentine123 Actually, it does count as drifting. What you're thinking of is power sliding which is the use of the wheels being locked in place but with your car still sliding due to the quick turn and the intertia that comes with the sudden brakes. Which makes it LOOK like you are drifting but you really have no control over the power sliding except for when to stop.

Power Sliding is a good way to start to learn how to drift though. So in reality, you're the pussy.

@hcrtoothy it doesn't count as drifting because anyone can control a slide in an AWD car. rip the hand brake, point the wheels and it goes where you tell it. where as RWD it takes skill and feel in order to drift not just pullin a lever.

@austinzarpentine123 Drifting is a controlled slide. That's all it really is. RWD and FWD and AWD all three can do it. It's just that RWD/FWD take more skill yes, but it still counts as drifting the same way as AWD. You just have to try a little more with RWD/FWD.

Other than that, they're both the same thing and it does count as drifting...

@richieboy123193 drifting is where a car goes into a controlled slide that can still be controlled. a rwd car controls this easy because you can control the rear of the car by using the front wheels. drifting with an awd car is harder because you after control the car by using the whole car.

@austinzarpentine123 Your brain is sliding. Have you ever tried to drift with AWD car? Normally you can't But with special (most often gymkhana prepared) cars you can make better evolutions compare to rear drive car. It is not easier tough. 4 wheel drive car require massive BHp and torque to preform drift. In both ways you need lots of skills and practise to preform good drifts.

@TriggerWojtas true, its hard to keep the wheels spinning and stop it from spinnin out, rwd drifting in my opinion is easier if you position correctly b4 you go into the drift but awd is harder because you have to reposition and change the revs and gears all at once so... im with you on this :)

I'm not going to argue about Forza 4 being better yet without giving the opposing factor a chance, yet GT5 did come out nearly a year before Forza 4.

But after the utterly disappointing game delivered by Polyphony this round, the "Gran Turismo" legacy, and with it, its reputation, is dead to me. With Gran Turismo 6, they'll be starting from zero in my eyes. They'll actually have to get me buying a PS4, which mean, forking a 1000 to Sony. Not bloody hell likely.

But don't mind my rant, I'm not the whole market. I'm sure GT6 will sell in the millions, whatever they come up with.
