I meant it looked like WGBH 1972 because of how the 0 zooms in enough to fill the screen and presents appeared. Other than that, it's a pretty neat logo
There was a time in the 1970's when they wouldn't play any music at the opening of a 20th Century Fox movie. Of course, all that changed once "Star Wars" became a hit.
Now that's one way to start the opening credits. Oh here's something that's interesting. According to the website IMDB, "The villainous company 'Engulf & Devour' is a spoof of 'Gulf & Western', which between 1965 and 1970 swallowed up 80 different companies, including Paramount Pictures in 1966". Also "The logo for Big Picture Studios features the slogan "Ars est pecunia" which is 'Art is money' in Latin. This is a takeoff on the MGM slogan 'Ars gratia artis' which means 'Art for art's sake'."
Furthermore, here's more info: Gulf & Western renamed itself as Paramount Communications in the late 1980s. This company was subsequently swallowed up by Viacom in the 1990s. That is why today Viacom is one of the BIGGEST media conglomerates in the world.

And remember when Sid Caesar tried to imitate the MGM lion roar? He sounded a lot more like a seriously wounded tiger! :-)

At a time in the '60s and '70s Gulf & Western owned SEGA. Yes, the company that all Sonic fans know and love.
