I had a track plan just like yours on the very first layout i did... take a look at one of my vids called "nod from the new to the old" i think thats what its called.
do you have plans for scenery?
i think you would benifit from having more yard tracks (that way you wouldnt have to "bench" some of your AWSOME STUFF!!!
Nice vid!
P.S. i wouldnt mind hearing your oppinions about track cleaning, and i would alos like to see your farris wheel in action. Thanks!
The horn on it is called a fog horn. The were used in the 40's and 50's because the horn activated crossings wouldn't activate to a steam whistle. So they put horns on them so that they could activate the crossings. SP 4449 and 2467 have them. 4449's is mounted to the side of the stack, and 2467's is under the left walkway on the side of the boiler. :-)
The derailing problem with the AC12 is that it's not made for 18" radius. That's why I always check to see what the min radius a loco will take when I'm considering whether or not to buy it. If it won't take 18" it stays at the LHS. That loco looks like it needs a min of 24", maybe 30". I sent you a message on track cleaning.
That butten, you say it is #3 in the video (at 2:50 ), sounds like the air horn. It is like SP 4449 alomst, as both classes of locamotives have a whistle, air horn, and bell.
I like your cat!
