Man that's exactly the set up I am about to run this weekend I have a 98 Cobra with a 03 Cobra Conversion, and I was looking for some exhaust well I happen to have a Bassani catted x-pipe, and I just ordered an American Thunder cat-back.
@mrdragking13 Yes the catted x-pipe will pass emissions. You just have to make sure it doesn't trip the check engine light. In my case I had to get MIL eliminators to keep the light from coming on.
@lXlDimmuborgirlXl the cheapest ive seen 03/04 cobras go is 16000 with high miles lol bein as ur 16 i would just get something cheaper like a ls1 or lt1 camaro,90's cobra's,or a 99-04 gt bc making payments sucks. Im waiting until im in my 20's to get a newer car to make payments just my 2 cents.

@lXlDimmuborgirlXl You can get them for around 14K but that is the lowest I have ever seen..And there is no way in hell you can pay for the Insurance on one..I was quoted at just over 350 a month when I was 18..The best thing you could do would be to buy a blown up V6 and drop a Terminator Motor in it..You could still say its a V6 so it would be a LOT Cheaper..
@TheMrhoneycutt yeah i guess you could do that but i think changing the motor would be a hastle and cost a lot of money. Ill just save up to buy a cobra and maybe my parents can help with insurance lol
@lXlDimmuborgirlXl No not really there is a Motor and ECU and Harness on SVTP for like 6500 bucks..Get a blown up AUTO V6 for around 1500..I say auto because 4R70W will take ANYTHING you throw at them..So that is 8K which is cheaper than a 99/01 Cobra and a lot better..Now with the money you saved on "building" a Cobra you could put towards mods like a Whipple and Supsension or even a Twin or Single Turbo..The motors can take it also because they are forged from the factory.

@lXlDimmuborgirlXl No I have a 2G Eclipse but am in the process of finding parts for what I just wrote..I already have the blown V6 and the motor just trying to find some money and time and a 8.8 or 9" Rear..And I would still say around 350+ depending on where you live..My first car was a 01 GT with bolt ons and it was 315 a month under my name..and only 220 under my moms so put it under your parents name.

Your insurance is going to be out the roof high @ first, but for every 6 months if you don't get into an accident or don't get a ticket, your insurance drops. i bought my termi when i was 17 it was and i paid 225 a month now i only pay $50 a month. And also get a cop radar and take drivers ed courses that also makes your insurance drop !

@lXlDimmuborgirlXl lol it's cool man, im 22 now. and i don't know if your parents are willing but @ the time my dad co signed for me. When i bought mine it only had 500 miles on it so i paid $28500. But you can find some with high milege and pick it up pretty cheap. And yea thats kind of crazy to have a cobra as your 1st car, my first car was a honda civic. It was a peice of shit lol but it was to get me around. it dosn't exactly have the best milege and if you want to do work to it, it'll

Yeah, I put the exhaust on and drove it up and down the street to see how it sounded. Then put it right back in the garage.

by far the better of the two, the magnapacks sound awsome but the flows give it that classice tone; and surpriseingly no horrible trumpet effect.
