No one has killed in the name of atheism. Political power is a motivator no matter what your belief or non belief is. I do not know a single atheist that thinks people should kill others for believing differently, yet in the past, god believers did a lot of this. 2. Straight people get AIDs as well, which also drops their live expectancy.
3. These are only average numbers, meaning there are also gay people who do live long, fruitful lives.

Leviticus 18:22 does not say that homosexuality is an abomination. It says that buttfucking another guy is. You can give and receive head from another guy all day, though, and God is perfectly fine with it. Also note the singular lack of any reference to female homosexuality in all of the Scriptures up until Romans, when our boy Paul denounces as unnatural and unbecoming the rather steamy rites that pagan priestesses performed.
