I don't really remember.. I just have good enough graphic cards to record i guess o.O? anyway.. don't record with sound.. thats what kills. I was though, pushed down to about 25-40 fps... playable but when it spikes like at the beginning of the movie to about 10 fps.. thats when it sucked.
it was allright however to make ur video faster paced shorten ur sword slashes to 2 slices (allows u to get back into slashing faster and doesnt leave u vulnerable)
Try playing GunZ, it is almost impossible at higher levels if you cant k-style, but it is awesome for getting used to fast movement on the keyboard, and controlling the urge to hammer on the mouse button when you have a sword.
Pretty well done for this kind of video. Must've been hard; a melee game montage is hard to pull off. Also, the choice of music would've made it hard. Overall, it's pretty well done. I don't think this is the right kind of music for a montage, though (although don't get me wrong, As I Lay Dying rules. :D), since there are no distinct audio cues to sync the fighting to. But overall, good job! :D
Well, to be honest, I had a crappy day of footage.. Most of the battles people were spamming zues so was near impossible to get range on them... Angel (red) is my range, but due to so many zues i had to go with death (black). And for the music, i thought the opening and the fast paced battles went well with the fast song.
pretty cool man. i'd say in way of critique to cut more often. 3:44 is a pretty long gameplay vid when you have to watch all the (typical NC right?) repeat moves. Don't hesitate to use fast forward on some scenes (flying through the tunnel comes to mind).
my favorite parts were the ranged attacks, after i saw the melee attacks like 40x i was like "man shit NC, spend some time on animation variance". The game looks pretty alright, how do you like it?
