I have no idea about guitar setups or anything, but could you flip the floyd rose tremolo system around so the whammy bar is not in the way (if it is setup for a left hander), cause i recently bought one but am probably swapping to left handed cause it feels more comfortable and itd be too expensive to return, so i was wondering is this the type of guitar you should change to a left handed setup

@OpaKnobi Get the RR24 ;) the RR3's have licensed Floyd Roses, which in my opinion is not bad, but the original is way better cause it stays in tune better :) and it has an EMG, and ebony freatboard :) the RR24 is better, but it costs more too... If you have the money, I definitely recommend it :)

@metzger861 I own both a ESP Edwards Alexi and Jackson RR24. Just got the RR24 like yesterday and I've gotta say its one of the most amazing guitar ever :P I expected a thinner neck but it's cool

@metzger861 it all really depends on your preference. I've tried out both and i prefer the jackson over the esp because it's easier for me to move up and down the neck. I play a lot faster on the jackson than the esp, but that's just me. it's really up to the preference of the guitarist. hope you find this helpful

he means what is the root note, basically. most metal soloists (Alexi Laiho being a GREAT example) play pentatonic scales in their solos

just because one model of a jackson rhoads goes out of tune doesn't mean they all do. I have, i don't like ibanez, i have tried Joe Satriani's $3k model and thought not to much of it, and i also play paul gilberts signature, and is probably my favorite shredder and didn't care for it either. Just an opinion. oh and btw i didn't say jackson had the thinnest necks ever.

prob an rr3. these do not come with both pickups...they are basically designed to be alexi laihos jackson lol, so that jackson can compete with the ESP sv.

no the Alexi Laiho Sig looks like that. The lower horn is bigger though. Jackson made ESP make the lower horn bigger (copyright stuff) This is what Alexis Guitar looked like when he used jackson. Then his stuff got stolen and it would have taken jackson too long to make him a new one so he went with ESP
