This was always my favorite 'rats song. Growing up in an Italian family I could really relate to it! Long live the Good Rats!! Even distorted I still loved it.

Takes me back to when I was on active duty, assigned aboard the USS Bataan. This song sums up the tragic loss of our Commanding Officer, Captain Allard (no, he didn't pass away..he got promoted to Rear Admiral). It was never the same afterward, and we longed for him painfully not only when we were in a real spot and NEEDED his help, but also when we had something to celebrate or some happy moment to share.
