  • You don't need to baby AR-15s, as long as its lubed it will run fine even after a couple thousand rounds with out cleaned, gun oil is like gas for the AR , but if you install a nickel boron coated bolt carrier, then it won't need any oil

  • Ill take the AK47

  • If your having jam issues with the colt use pmags, BCM extractor upgrade and sprinco buffer spring...should solve that

  • The AK-47 is used by revolutionaries that cannot afford an AR-15 style weapon.

Russia dumped their AK-47's and they now use much newer rifles that fire smaller rounds just like the AR-15's. Why? Because they're better.

  • ill always go with the AK-47

  • I would never buy a ar in 7.62x39 why not just but an ar10 in .308 same range as .223 but with the knock down power of a .30 cal just my opinion

  • What's wrong with being a fan of the AR? I personally think the m4 is beautiful (with a rail system)!

  • And look up ar dirt test, water test, and fuck off ak test -_-

  • 5.56 is a great round, 7.62x39 just goes right through you without yawing, 5.56 will yaw/fragment, shut your snatch, I have seen it happen on hogs (16 in barrel/1 in 9 twist/ m193 federal)

My stag model 8 (gas piston) no carrier tilt, about 2000 rounds, and my arsenal gets dirtier than my stag (same amount of rounds)

  • @Tuxedo413 A lot of real world reports suggest otherwise.

  • ar15-americanmade-quality

  • Cleaning firearms is very important. No question there. However, the AR 15 functions better with the bolt and bolt carrier well lubricated. Wet guns function better than dry guns. That goes for the AK as well. Get both and shoot both. Be proficient with any gun.

  • The Duriability of the AR15 is horrible. When put in water or mud the mechanism jams unlike the AK.

  • AR+Chrome Bore+Chrome Chamber+Chrome Bolt= No jams, low drag, low maintenance.

  • @Cube210

It is a "tight chambered weapon"...If you do not clean it,,,, it will fail. That being said, as mrlockandload puts it, there are ten year olds in africa shooting AK's year round....point proven

  • @FlatheadSteve Good point and all, but I really don't expect a weapon not to be cleaned. I've used motor oil and a tooth brush to clean my AR before (forgot kit at home) AK's can go a little longer without cleaning, but some ignorant peoples I know have NEVER cleaned it. Then blame its accuracy on it being an AK when it's really their fault. Covered in rust, and jamming non-stop. and as some will oppose, AK's can be very accurate.

in all--> AK+AR=Both need to be cleaned, both are good.

  • @Cube210 it still shits where it eats.

  • @theunsuspecting

    Which is very true.

But that's also why I pointed out having a chrome lined bore, chamber, and bolt. When an AR/M16 have this config it really helps.

  • @Cube210 It does indeed.

  • And I like this review because the AR and AK are traditional style. Most reviews are wood stock AK-47 and the most up to date AR-15. Personally both are top of the line, but some owners just gay out their weapons

  • I am a AK-47 fan 100%, but it doesn't mean I think AR-15 rifles are bad, I just don't like em. Plus I know they are built for longer distance, but most firearm combat happens a couple feet away, including home invasions. The only weapon I have that is close to a AR-15 is my desert eagles. Anyone dumb enough to try to enter my home won't live to tell about it.

  • 223 hollow points are deadly, and three 223 is not a 5.56, so dont confuse the two.

  • i say anyone who wants an AR-15 in a 7.62X39 is just an AR fanboy

  • Something I think we need to remember though is that the AR system (both the M16 and the M4) were designed to be flexible weapons and were designed to be used with accuracy. The AK on the other hand, was designed to be used in support of artillary and machinegun use. So, basically, the combat mentalities of both rifles is different. At the end of the day, I don't think one is better than the other, I just think they are different, and are useful in different ways. I love both rifles.

  • i love people who rip on ar-15 ammo. .223/5.56 is more than enough to kill a person. small entry huge exit. anyone who disagrees with that has no understanding of ballitstics. HYDROSTATIC SHOCK. look it up. still not convinced? shoot a whitetail in the vitals with a hollow point. animal rights you say? shoot a watermellon. this round is just as effective as a 7.62, possibly better.

  • @mygreenz71 I did both to pumpkins a few years back. The 7.62 did a bit better. I wouldn't matter much cause your killing whatever is in your way. I used regular HP rounds though.

  • GUNZ DONT KILL PEOPLE!!!! PHSYCOTIC BEAR WITH MACHETES DO!!!!

  • How's the black rifle?

  • They're both great guns in their own respect. The AK is always going to win on the basis of power and reliability; that's just the way it is. When it comes to accuracy though, that's where the AR takes the cake. Luckily, thanks to the second amendment, we can own both of these great guns!

  • I've used Ar's/M16.s A2,A4, etc... and AK's. Ar's are ok, if you are an anal type that has more cleaning supplies than Midway... you have to know how and where to clean it as well. I've shot AK's that could hit a closed pizza box, offhand at 275-300 yards, which is great, considering its' price. An AK74 is better than a M4, overall. It's just tougher, and with the newer round, it has a much longer range. The Safety on the Ak is clunky. All in all, I'd take a FN/FAL or HK/G3 over either.

  • @MrHansMachine

yes, i have seen them and i like them. the only problem is that i dont think a .50 BMG would work with full auto or burst fire very well. lol

  • ak 47 it is really good , it is powerful and penetrable through woods, and concrete

  • it all comes down to personal preference that is what i believe

  • Good stuff , Voodoo !!! Sub'ed !!!

  • dude i have a Remington R15 and a SKS and the SKS jams on me all the time but the AR hasnt failed me yet

  • @79Twitch i have an AR-15 a 2 Ak-47s and an sks and both my sks and AR have jammed but never once has one of the ak-47s failed me.

  • What kind of ak is that?

  • The M4 for those that do not know,is a short AR,In Vietnam,the Vietnamese,would bury AK's,and SKS in the mud,and dirt,pick them up and fire EVERY round,while M16's all around were jamming.It's physically impossible,to keep a weapon clean in a battle zone,the AK is a workhouse,that truely WORK.According to a History Channel story,Top 10 battle weapons,THE AK WINS.more than 60 MILLION AK's have been made..

  • WASHINGTON, Oct. 12, 2009

M4 Rifles Causing Problems for U.S. Troops

Independent Study of Wanat Battle by Military Historian Finds Widely Used Gun Can Jam at Worst Time.

(CBS/AP) In the chaos of an early morning assault on a remote U.S. outpost in eastern Afghanistan, Staff Sgt. Erich Phillips' M4 carbine quit firing as militant forces surrounded the base. The machine gun he grabbed after tossing the rifle aside didn't work either.(this article is foe AR lovers.

  • I've never owned or fired a rifle, but I have to say I really like the HK417 over either of those. It has the accuracy of the AR and the reggedness of the AK. And it totally passes the sand-water-mud test.

  • @MadBadVoodo jack the ripper didnt shoot people he butchered them

  • .308 conversion on the ar15 with solve the small round problems

  • Hey Hunter, THis is the very first video i ever saw from you, the reason i am subbed :P have a good day! just thought id let you know

  • i think Kalashnikov put it best, the m16 is a beautiful gun, but it has more components than i have hair on my head.

  • there are stories of Russians in Chechnya who were ambushed and destroyed by the rebels. When Russian units sometimes months later would come to the sight of the ambush, they found some AKs under armor, bodies, in the mud, etc. and they would still fire from the same magazine after being exposed to that for over a month. then there are stories of soldiers in Iraq whos M16 jam after a day of not cleaning it.. when shit hits the fan, im going with an AK for sure

  • i want to get an AK but i dont know which one i should get. which ones do u believe are the top three AKs?

  • @zrotrust try not to get a Chinese knock off version. The Romanian, Russian and Ukraine versions are always better.

  • @gabba1gabba1hey. I heard romanians weren't worth buying.. whats ur opinion on romanian and bulgarian?

  • @zrotrust they are similar to the Russian models, but a hell of a lot cheaper to buy in the sates. (my friend bought a semi-used Romanian AK-47 for 125 dollars)

  • I like the AK because of durability and its just a tough ass gun.. Its simple to use simple to clean and the round has more punch than the winny .223 round. In a close case senerio the AK is much superior because of the punch it brings.

  • Most fighting in Iraq is less than 300 yards. AK - 47 Is perfect for that distance.

  • @SpencerM1A1

The AK-47 is a good weapon, but I'd never want a full auto variant. Way too much kick to tactically fire in full auto. Semi auto works like a charm though for me

  • @Cowbelltheoneandonly Yeah, I would probably have it on semi most of the time, but I would like to keep the full auto option open in close quarters.

  • The AR-15 is purley an adanced military weapon. Always in the hand of first world countries. The ak-47 is the everyman weapon. Cheap to make, simple to use, easy enough for children to use, and children do. It's in the flag of Mozambique it is used in over 90% of the world. It is Russia's number one export. I think that speaks for itself. It is so durable if seen people put mud right down the barrel and pull the trigger I think that speaks for itself.

  • MEXICO CHOOSES THE AK FO SHO A RS ARE WELCOME

  • Between the AK 47 and the M16, the M16 will always be runner up(second place). Give it up AR fans, it is what it is.

  • as far as this caliber argument is concerned..... 3 of a kind always beats 2 pair...

  • both ok.... i guess, but lets talk serious weapons, these two arnt topping the chart yet there the most discussed????? if only the special olympics had this kinda turn out...lol. ok, both fall short of styer aug and it falls short of g36, and it falls short of g3, and it falls short of fn fal, and all fall short of the m14.... everyone needs to stop parading these two weapons and move up to the big leagues, this is time wasted and not saving money....

  • if i had 2 go 2 war and those were my choices i wud have 2 go with the ar because it hardly kicks and feels very comfortable

  • i do like the ar 15 but i have to say that the ak is better yea it might not be as accurate but is has alot of stopping power and it barely jams or malfunctions, now if it was like say...the m416 or m16a4 i would say thats better than any ak in my opinion their accurate, now have a more powerful round and also dont jam as much so id say the ak is pretty much obsolete unless you want it because your a collector but my favorite weapon will always be either the m416, m16a4 or the ACR

  • Get a heavy, strong barrel and the AK format is accurate as all hell. If you watch the Ak in slo-mo, the barrel bends upwards. With a new barrel, that problem goes away.

The New AK-74 uses a 5.45 and they say it "tumbles." IDK i like brute force of 7.62 a little more but yeah...

The M16/M4/AR15 platform is just terrible. My Dad served in Korea during 'nam and he says how much he hated it. I'm actually a fan of bull-pup designs.

  • In the army I used highly abused used m16a2, had very little no problem. Then the m16a3 came out and WOW very nice. Not as much power as an AK 7.62, but the 5.56 has an extra 200yards on it of pure accuracy.

M16a1 is cool for 1500-2000 rounds then it's done. Hint some of the nam problems.

  • weapon of choice for zombie apocalipse - AK-47

weapon of choice for armed conflict/defence - AK-74

  • I have both !

  • @WolfInTehWall You can get a AR15 in 7.62X39 or any cal you want. Just switch uppers and mags.

  • In my state we don't have any sand so I will never have to worry about that. I don't plan on going to Afghanistan any time soon. Shot placement is the kill to killing someone so I rather have the rifle that shoot the most accurate.

  • how far is the ak47 still acurate anough to get close groops

  • Good Points, thanks for the review I am himing and hawing about which weapon to buy

  • kan you try out ur ak in da shooting range?

  • Well ak47 for me......Its an terriost favorites and the rapid fire Man i have a ak47 and the first time i shot it wow it blew me back

  • id take the AK-47 all day its design has withstoof the test of time and newer guns made are based of the ideas that made it. with that said ill still take an AR but only in the 7.62x39, .308, .50 beowolf

  • Commy bast**rd. Ar rulez!

  • What kind of AK is that?

  • Great vid, I have them both and agree with everything you say. I would choose the ak of the two to defend myself.

  • Great video,I agree with everything you say 100%. I have both and the ak 47 is the one I would grab if I needed a weapon to defend myself.

  • Get em both people!!!

  • Thats the way we roll... LOL!!

  • I'm more of an AR guy, but i have to agree, you won't see our military using the AR 50 years from now, but the AK will still be around

it's hard to say what gun is "best", best is such a relative term, there are so many factors that come into play in this debate

  • I will take my AR and WEAK 223. Yes the AR needs more cleaning(which is easy as HELL) but who cares.. clean your rifle!! i I just dont like AK's personally but everyone has there own thing.

  • Great video,VOO DOO! Your absolutely right about this subject..I used the M-16 A1's in the Guard, and I have owned 5 different Ak's over the years and I would trust the AK variants with my life in a COMBAT ARENA...Five stars my friend!!

  • .223 weak... but if you hit by .233 you will still die...

  • good vid....

    5stars...

  • If General Washington had to chose he would have gone with the AK. The AR was designed for accuracy and higher performance but needs more maintenance. If you have a military with a the logistical support you can afford the luxury and higher performance of an AR

  • Own both, for patrol it has to be an AR, but for guard duty the AK will make swiss cheese out of any car! But if I had to pick I'd pick a piston driven AR-15!

  • @CarlRF99 I've seen a rusty old Datsun pickup shot with 50-75 rounds of 5.56mm and the driver was hit in the calf by one round, the other two in the cab were not hit. 5.56mm is varmint round, that's why it's called the 'poodle shooter.' Even if you get an AR in an another caliber, unless you get one with a piston drive, it's still got the crappy impingement system. Look at the SCAR and ACR, that's a big part of what led to these two designs.

  • I have seen many M16s in my time and i was thinking of getting an ar 15 simply because im already so familiar with it. I might consider getting something else though because they can be problematic.

  • I think that is total bullcrap. I've owed many Colt AR15s and they never jammed on me unless I was using wolf ammo with the coating. How many rounds could you really fire in a combat day? Mine will handle the job.

  • AK47: mr lay em down, knock em down, whatever ya wanna call it. it will lay some shit down with few rounds, very reliable and durable weapon. i love mine. more accurate than ppl think

AR15: long distance death, far gone, whatever ya wanna call it. yea they do jam but as far as shooting performance, the ar is very good, exellent out at a mid to long range. im gettin one really soon...

    5/5

  • ok nice vid alota information...but more action would be nice ...5 stars anyway.

  • Both are great guns. I like them both; I must say that I'd prefer the weight of the AR if I were scaling mountains!

  • I wonder why Americans almost always forget or omit the existence of AKM. In fact, almost all videos on YT with "AK-47" title have AKM on screen, not AK-47 ;)

  • EmperorPalpa: What's the difference between the AKM and the AK-47?

  • @1PATRI0T look up aRomanian WASR10 based off of an AKM. then look up a chinese type 56, thats based off of an ak47...look at those two side by side and you will see the difference externally. the design is a but different. internally they are exactly the same

  • @EmperorPalpa excellent analysis my friend. youre the first and probably the only person thats noticed that. the AK he has up here is a century arms wasr 10 which is based off of the AKM. i have one too. we call them ak47s for the same reason some ppl call m4s ar 15s. theyre are noticeable differences between the two but relatively the same gun. but i do admit in my vids im guilty of callin my WASR10 an AK47 and not an AKM but an akm is an ak47 but just a more modernized version made around 1951

  • @EmperorPalpa, Because they are too ignorant to tell the difference.

  • @EmperorPalpa same with the AKS

  • I own both and love them both!

It's just according to what kind of mood I'm in as to which one I take to the range.

  • if you can hit a man above his belly button with the 223, you can kill him...

  • Both are very nice, but you already know which I prefer

  • The AR would benefit greatly from a piston setup. The DI on an AR gets the bolt and carrier VERY dirty.

I have a Mini-14 which is a type of piston setup and after shooting 150 rounds the bolts clean and only slightly warm to the touch.

  • ar-15 = cracks concrete

    ak-47 = owns concrete

  • @zboyco My friend has an AR15 in 7.62X39 and one in 5.45X39. I am getting one in 6.8 spc which is the same size as AK round.

  • @bllw69 AK is 7.62 in most variants. never seen an AK in 6.8 SPC

  • @zboyco My comment was that you can get an AR15 in the same round as the AK47 and AK74, 7.62 and 5.45. Then I said I was going to get a 6.8spc upper for my AR. They also have the 6.5 grendal which is a long range round out to 1000 in an AR upper. My friend owns an AR15 that is 7.62X39 and is fun to shoot.

  • @bllw69 oh i see. yea i had an armalite with a 7.62 upper. performed better than my 5.56 upper i had and cheaper to shoot

  • @zboyco Back when my friend first picked up the AR in 7.62x39 the ammo was really cheap 9 cents a round. lol. now it's the same as 5.56 so he picked up a 5.45x39 upper.

  • great

  • I bet the AR-15 is cleaner now

  • Two nice firearms. I like the wood on the AK. Good review with great points. Thanks~

  • What I find interesting is how people always talk smack about a .223 round not having any punch. The idea behind a .223 is more lead down range on target in a nice little grouping. That means badguy has gotta be accurate on the first shot or he is dead. US troops use body armor that stops the AK round. 223 wil kill you with or without bodyarmor. Accuracy is everything in a fire fight. THE END.

  • @gorky45 Right, I've seen an old crusty Datsun pickup truck shot with several dozen 5.56mm rounds, there were three men inside. The driver was hit in his calf, by one round, I dressed his wound. The reality is that it's a varmint round, and not very capable of penetrating anything. As for body armor, it doesn't matter, chances are an IED is what will kill you if you go Haji hunting. 5.56mm is nothing more than a glorified .22 just add a .003 to it.

  • Good vid. Interesting.

  • 223 is like shooting a 22lr not a lot stopping power i would get AR-15 in 7.62x39mm but the mag only holds 10rds so when i get my long rifle I'm going with AK-47 for when shit hit the fan i want a AK-47.but if zombies or real i want AR in 6.8spc it ez make head shoots with a AR then AK that just me

  • Nice vid - 556 is a bit small to me. That's why i went with 308 M1A. No rifle is perfect, but the 308 has more flexibility to me. An AR in 308 would be a fine combo.

  • Well if I had to choose ONE I would probably grab the AK..........although I would love to have either.

Of course I can't since I live in Commie-fornia. BASTARDS!

  • One guy once told me he could put a mouse in the chamber and it WOULD STILL FIRE! lol

The AR/Ak debate goes on. I'm an M-14 fan, what do I care.

  • I have had both and I will put my money with the AR I am a citizen not a peasent so

I can keep my firearm clean SWecond point True but years from now an AR will be like throwing rockscompared to what is coming down the pike

  • I have, and have had for years both a MAC-90 and a Colt HBAR AR-15. While I have not shot the crap out of either, I prefer the AR over the MAC, but not by a lot; they are different rifles, and both have their advantages. If the AK presented such an advantage, then would not our military use them? One advantage of the 223 is that you can carry more rounds, and with it being much more accurate than the AK, you have an advantage. I think that in most circumstances well placed shots are best.

  • You are 100 % right. IMHO. Hot lead down range on taget is everything. Even with a malfunction, you will be more combat affective. You get shot, you don't say...oh it's just a 223 round, big deal. No, you go OOOOOOOOOOO shit, they got me!

  • Impeach OBAMA! Subscribe and sign the petition to have Obama investigated by congress for possible war, and civil crimes. This is not a race issue. We demand the truth Obama. Where is the change? Its time to stand up and make Obama answer for his actions and false promises.

  • I agree that the .223 is a weak round and range is below par.

    that's why I went with a .308

double the range with a lot more punch

and it's still an AR type weapon.

  • Good video...I think the AR/M16 needs to be replaced with something new of today. The M16 was designed in the late 50's! The US mil needs a new weapon. That said, I love my AR-15 ;-) AK-47 is like a VW bug. It will always be around but you can get a better ride/gun.

  • There both great weapons but in the end it is your opinion on which to choose at the time you need it!

  • i'm just happy we live in a country that lets us make the choice !!

  • I'd choose the Colt AR-15... it's the superior weapon. Why? Because it's an AMERICAN original, damn it, and because I said so, that's why!

  • I think you may have just made the best point yet! Go Team USA!!

  • Fuckin' eh right.

  • America! Fuck yeah! We're going out to save the whole fucking world!

    Lol, and i'm swedish xD

  • @Nighthawk391 I know isn't it ridiculous, private gun ownership is a good thing though. Oh by the way I want to thank your country for the red candy fish and the lil meatballs are always a hit at our potlucks.

  • @bigassclown1 Yes it is, Japan was afraid to invade the US because they knew their citizens were armed :-D

  • @DarcPrynce accuracy doesnt matter when ur gun jams up, ill take the ak anyday.o wait i already did

  • the thing with AK's is that they are made in countries all over the world, take afghanistan, they make them there, i have fired above average and also poor copies while there, eastern europe has a few good ones, the russian ones are bit too cheap for me, as in poorly made, short rage it is fine due to the rate of fire and probability of hitting the target but the uzi and many clones are better for that,, easier to carry and conceal, and so is

    a .357 magnum... lol

  • I don't know much about guns but yours sure look nice! :) Hehe.

    Five stars!

  • You are a Kentucky girl and you don't know much about guns???

  • lol yes! I've never owned one and only shot one a few times. And I owned a BB gun when I was little that I used to shoot, but that's really it.

  • OK I will let you off the hook if you tell me that if your man kills it you can cook it! :)

  • I am a pretty good cook! :)

  • I would love 2 see you make a cooking video!!

  • Very nice video. The COLT has the "second kind of cool" that we love, but they just don't hold a candle to the AK as far as reliability, and just plain brutish tool factor. "first kind of cool".

These are just my take from what I have experienced. YMMV.

    OCTOS..........out

  • Thanks 4 checking out my vid!!

  • i CERTAINLY agree with the ak in 50 years, and the ar in 50 years, but as far as calibers go, i think the 5.56 will last a long time, i personally think we should of stuck with the M14, but thats just my opinion

  • I love the M14!!

  • I prefer the 7.62 x 39 HP as well. I figure if ever you have to shoot, you want to stop them in their tracks. Same goes for the 9mm vs. the 40 or 45 cal. Just my opinion of course............ Donald

  • Hey Donald I thought you were going 2 do a cooking video 4 me! :)

  • Did one on making Roux and Gumbo...... Donald

  • Yes and they are great five star videos but that was then and this is now! LOL!!

  • madbadvoodo

I completely agree with your assessment. The AR is a high powered bb gun. Go ahead and bash me too. But I prefer an AK, simply put, it gets the job done.

Did you ever find Freedo's money? I suggested a hound to smell out the pvc. Dont hold out on me. later.

  • I'm still looking! A dog might work...

  • The 5.56x45 round FMJ is for when you have muliple targets, and if you shoot said target which in the Marines it mostly going to be a person, the person will be wounded, and his buddys will have to carry him off the line, so that means more targets.

  • You make a good point...

  • I thought that was the point of most rifles.

  • Why I think we're on the same page. Do you know what a handgun is used for?

To fight your way back to your rifle. LOL

Well, I'm more of a handgun fan, but I don't mind reaching out for someone.

  • damn

  • ODJ in the House!

  • The ar looks cool but the ak is a classic killing machine.

  • That is a fact my friend!

  • You're almost as brave as me!!! AR VS AK debate is as provocative at the 9mm Vs .45 slugfest...

Nice vid. I'd like to see that AK fired.

  • I will see about getting that AK out for you Ted... :)

  • Are you kidding???

The 45 is the way to go.

(it's odd though, I leave my 45 at home and carry my 9 everyday.)

  • You have some nice guns, I really want pick up a ruger 556 and do some testing.... Keep up the good vid's!

  • Thanks man!!

  • A soldier once told me that the difference between these 2 different military rifle rounds is that if you shoot a man coming at you with a 5.5mm round you'll kill him but you won't stop him, whereas the 762 round will kill him and stop him. Dreadful to think of what 'getting the job done' means.

O reflection, I think I prefer to live with British gun laws which prevent me owning a sporting rifle, but also prevents criminals and crazies from owning pistols and machine guns.

  • How do laws prevent law breakers from doing anything??

  • Our Britiah laws make it very difficult to own firearms, especially pistols which are completely uillegal. A man was sentenced to 5 years prison last week just for possessing a pistol-he hadn't shot anyone or used it in a crime. Of course some people obtain them illegally, but very few.

Gun killings are very rare in Britain, less than 100 a year. I believe more than 20,000 Americans die by guns each year. Of course a lot of those are suicides and accidents.

  • @stephenhayesuk Hey Stephen dont get hung up on the gun deaths in the US please remember we have over 300 million people. I am 43 years old and have never seen anyone shot not even during my time in the Marine Corps and I own hundreds of guns. How many people did Jack the Ripper shoot in London? People kill people always have and always will

  • Don't worry my Mad BAd friend, I agree that people kill people, its just easier if you have a gun.

Jack the Ripper slaughtered his female victims with surgical knives. I think he killed 8 women in all. There have been more prolofic serial killers since, but few with guns.

Of course, our worst British serial killer was a member of my profession, Manchester GP Dr Harold Shipman. He used morphine, and killed over 150 patients before he was finally caught after forging a will. Scary!

  • @MadBadVoodo Jack the Ripper never shot he stabbed..... :'(

  • @MadBadVoodo

Jack the Ripper didnt shoot people... he stabed at cut up prostitutes.... Im not disagreeing with your point... I'm just saying :P

  • I'm familiar with UK gun laws. My question was how will passing a law, no matter how strict, affect the behavior of someone not inclined to obey it anyway?

  • its all down to enforcement, huguenot.

The state can-and does- prevent the honest UK citizen owning most firearms, strong enforcement and heavy sentences do modify behaviour in all kinds of areas. Inclination and opportunity are 2 different things which affect actual behaviour.

But please forgive me, I have no intention of becoming a gun control troll let alone an advocate for the kind of all pervading big state thought control we increasingly have here in UK. I own a legal shotgun
